It’s one thing when the food is great, but the staff was BEYOND amazing- my boyfriend accidentally left his phone behind and as we walked the man behind the counter chased us down to return it! We’ll definitely be coming back for their delicious bahn mis and their wonderful service
This is my go-to place to get Vietnamese sandwiches in Oakland Chinatown. Besides Banh Mi sandwiches, it offers packaged small French breads, Asian baked goods, snacks, big muffins, and drinks and Vietnamese desserts in the fridge. Although there are a couple of tables inside, people usually come here for takeouts. I ordered my favorite, grilled pork sandwich with extra meat, which had a good amount of fillings and the bread was toasted and crunchy on the outside.
Stopped by here a dozen times over the years, finally getting around to a review. Absolutely my favorite restaurant - fresh food, nice atmosphere and quite clean inside. Polite, hard-working family. Love this place!
