Really a hidden gem. David and family provide the best Cambodian food. You can tell they care about their food, as they offer to not give you the noodles cooked so you can have them at optimum level at home. Everything is good here but a bit spicy.

Food amazing. A little hard to find at first but worth the flavor. What a gem to find in Emeryville. Love the food fusion!

If we're talking hidden gems, this is one of them. It's a food truck behind a casino and the food is delicioussss. I wish I took photos of what we ordered but it was too late. This place only takes cash or venmo as a heads up. But we ordered, 3 dishes, the pork belly, Lao sausage, and crispy rice. They also feature a lot more items on their insta! So check that out. It only took 15ish minutes for everything to be ready. While you wait you can check out the casino and just watch. Pretty sure it's a hotspot for the regulars there as they delivered food to people playing inside. Overall food was delicious. Our favorite thing was the crispy rice! So flavorful, crispy and addicting. Pairing that on a lettuce wrap and piece of protein dipped in the spicey fish sauce mixture was THE perfect bite. Still thinking about this place. Hope to come back and try other items on their extensive and reasonably priced menu!

Great southeast Asian comfort food! Food is incredible and the owners are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend the Nam Kao, Lao Sausage, and Thai tea. Open late, which is a huge bonus in the east bay!

Amazing Lao fusion tacos and hot noodle soup! Also, the coconut Thai tea was unique and yummy! We walked here since we were in the neighborhood, but I could see how it would be difficult to drive here as there is no parking lot and street parking looked full. There's a nice outdoor seating area though. The tacos were my favorite out of the dishes we tried. I just got one beef taco to try it and I wish I got more. There was a chicken option too. There was a nice assortment of veggies with the perfectly seasoned beef and it came with a house made spicy garlic fish sauce on the side which pulled all the flavors together in a wonderful way.The noodle soup was also bomb. Very clear delicately flavored soup broth is made even more excellent when you pour in all the hot chili sauce they give you. Careful, that stuff is SPICY. There was beef meatballs, chicken, and shrimp in addition to the wide rice noodles and veggies. On a cold fall/winter night this soup is heaven. The pork belly was nicely crispy and salty and came with a bunch of fresh veggies which I appreciated. This dish also came with the house made spicy garlic fish sauce for dipping which was yummy. We also got the garlic noodles with shrimp which was a huge portion great for sharing as it filled the entire container in a mound. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The noodles were a little sweet for my taste. I rectified it by adding garlic chili sauce to the leftovers the next day.The coconut Thai tea was excellent, especially because I like coconut. The coconut milk helped balance the intense tea flavor that Thai iced tea has. This is a unique menu item you should definitely try, especially if you like That tea and coconut.

Great fresh food served up with authentic spices. Turmeric, lemon grass, the works. Friend chicken wings are really good. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The special chicken soup comes with wide rice noodles and lots of garlic , green onion mix. They give you lots of dipping sauces, which adds the bang to every dish. Remember to ask them where they are before you go. They have two locations and I'm not sure how they decide the days they're at each.

The food, the people, the atmosphere here are awesome. All the food here is authentic and amazing. The Kao piak is always served hot and with all the toppings and the fried pork belly is to die for. These are the best for hangovers!

On an overcast day with a slight chill in the air the Kao Piak was just what I needed. Thick rice noodle in a chicken soup made creamy from the rice was a warm hug that briefly softened the world's edges as I sipped, leisurely, thoroughly enjoying the moment.
