We had a caesar salad and their seasonal autumn harvest salad that was great. The casear was pretty typical but the autumn harvest salad was awesome. We also grabbed 3 pizzas including the red top, mushroom, and porky fig. Out of the three, the red top was the best. The tomatoes were very fresh and you could taste some acidity from the tomatoes in the pizza. I liked the mushroom pizza next and the porky fig was good but not quite what I was expecting. They are detroit style pizzas...
Nice ambiance place to have a beer. I haven’t had their pizza yet.
I love American Barleywines but the barleywines here and dark beers are usually a tad bit too sweet for me.
But I had a recent dark beer called coffee and cigarettes which was awesome. Look forward to coming here again.

I recently stopped in before going to a show in Oakland. I’ve been to the S.F. location many times, but it was my first time in. Theo took really good care of me. He was professional, efficient and friendly. He even helped me find a t-shirt and hoodie. I highly recommend visiting and will be back the next time I am in Oakland! The Bacon & fig pizza and Coffee & Cigarettes pudding were amazing! Thank you for making my visit special Theo!
