Wish I could put more than five stars!! Best glazed donut I have ever had - and the woman running the shop could not be more kind. It is not every day in Oakland that one comes across a business as inviting and people-forward as this one. It is the ONLY place I would go out of my way to visit purely for the spirit of their customer service.. luckily, the quality of the donuts measures up! I hope this saves someone a trip. This Colonial Donuts location does not appear to be open 24 hours like the one on Lakeshore. I just arrived at 8p on a week night and it is closed. When I called the Lakeshore location, the representative said the Broadway location is under different owners. I'm sure the food is amazing and that it is still local! I encourage the business to add their hours to reduce customer confusion or frustration. Looking forward to dining here another...
This place is so organized and clean!Very nice and friendly owners. ^_^Note: A cash only place! So make sure to bring cash with you.Also in case you're wondering, this location has no restroom.
