Korean person here. This place is authentic, their side dishes are always freshly made (and they give you a big variety), and the food is delicious! I find the seasoning to be perfect - not too salty as some of the other restaurants in the area. This is our favorite Korean spot in Oakland by far! We tend to eat early, but it’s never crowded in the restaurant. We also do a lot of takeout and it tastes just as good as dining in.

HOW does this place continue to be so quiet?? My bf requested it for his birthday dinner so we went tonight and it was excellent as ever. Not a single other person there at 8:15pm. Our favorite local place for Korean food! The menu has a ton of amazing options, everything is authentic and tasty, and is very family friendly. Our toddler loves the steamed beef dumplings, my favorite is the seafood tofu soup, and my husband loves the dol sot (bibimbop in a hot clay pot). The banchans (complimentary side dishes) are also our fav is the bay. Highly recommend!
