Missing a kick. Wasn’t very flavorful - I think they forgot to add a bit of salt to the katsu and curry - the curry could use more curry powder as well. Without the salt, the umami flavor in both the pork and curry doesn’t come out. Maybe my taste buds aren’t working today, will give it another try next time.

The veggie curry was delicious—the flash fried veggies on top were perfectly cooked, especially the eggplant and pumpkin. The curry was so flavorful! The onion rings were so good too—excellent seasoning on them and a generous portion!

It's inside the Swan Market.We ordered a pork katsu curry, but the pork was a little bit tough. The sauce is a black curry, not the usual curry taste, stronger (but not spicier) and more the taste of soy sauce but without the saltiness (?)

Best curry spot in downtown Oakland I went at night time the lady was very helpful it was my first tried so I asked for recommendations and the tonkatsu curry was suppperr delicious
