Such great casual/quick food that doesn’t skimp on taste or quality! We had the barbacoa burrito, bowl, and guac and will be back to try more! There is tons of outdoor seating which made bringing our dog super easy.

Food is amazing, but why can’t they bring you silverware. Is it that difficult? You get seated and then have to get up again to get water, napkins, salsas, silverware, etc. I just don’t get it.

The atmosphere is great! The service is fast! The food is mid. The nachos were pretty good but the enchiladas were not edible. The horchatas tasted nothing like horchata the strawberry horchata was more of a strawberry smoothie with cinnamon sprinkled on top and the horchata coffee was an iced coffee with cinnamon. The churros taste like pancakes nothing authentic here. 👎

Doña is a bright, welcoming restaurant on Piedmont Avenue with high-quality Mexican-inspired food and a spacious indoor and outdoor setting. The cozy interior and heated patio make it perfect for any occasion—whether you’re with friends, family, or even your dog.
Favorites like the Pollo Asado Bowl, Sopa de Lima, and Cauliflower Tostada stand out for their fresh, bold flavors. The chips & queso are a must! Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and everything is made with care.
Service is fast and easy with counter ordering, and the vibe is casual and friendly. Whether you’re grabbing brunch, dinner, or happy hour drinks, Doña offers a relaxing, tasty experience in a beautiful space.

Ordered chilli relleno, pollo asado taco and aqua fresca. Good quality food.
Nice veg options.
Lot of seating area both indoors & outdoors as well as on the 2nd floor.
It’s a self serve and also drop your plates in cleanup area after you are done.

Doña is a great place to experience quality Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere was pleasant, but getting used to the cafeteria-style service is not something I've seen much of. Nevertheless, once I had observed the customs, we eagerly dove into the food, which looked so pleasing. The flavors delivered a top-tier experience. A very nice touch was the vegetarian option for the bowl. Overall, I feel great about the location and service.

I’ve been going to doña occasionally for 4 years, and the atmosphere never disappoints! Love the different seating areas, especially upstairs/outside balcony seating, the drinks etc. My one hesitation in giving a full five stars is that I find some of the options to be overly acidic, and have gotten heartburn that I don’t generally get from Mexican food. Delicious flavors, but be careful of the salsas and guac if you’re sensitive to acidic foods!

The carnitas burrito was tasty well prepared as were the chips and queso. The only negative about this place was a placard at the register saying they do not accept cash due to the number of recent robbery attempts. Seems like a very sketchy place to eat if they get robbed that often. Maybe think about hiring off-duty police to patrol the small parking lot and the restaurant itself?

Today, 8/4/25 around 1:00 PM, I grabbed a seat at the bar and looked forward to enjoying a delicious Mexican lunch. While I enjoyed the chile relleno and frijoles negros, I was unfortunately disappointed by both the guacamole and the level of service. The guacamole arrived with noticeable gray, unripe avocado chunks and an off flavor, suggesting it was prepared with avocados past their prime, making it inedible. When I shared my feedback with the bartender, he assured me the guacamole was made fresh, but the quality of avocados used clearly affected the taste. He took the dish away and offered a replacement, but I declined given my concern about the ingredient quality. What surprised me was that the guacamole remained on my bill—a gesture I wouldn’t expect given that I literally couldn’t eat it. This felt like a missed opportunity to provide better customer care, especially at the noticeably high price point for guacamole. While I enjoyed parts of my meal, the disappointing guac and inattentive response left me hesitant to return. I hope the restaurant considers addressing ingredient quality and customer feedback more thoughtfully moving forward.
