Truly excellent tea and boba here. I got the Jasmine green tea with boba and Hong Kong milk tea with boba and I have to say their tea based drinks are spectacular! One of the best in the Bay Area honestly, and I’ve gone to a lot of boba and tea shops. I wish there was a Golden Tea Shop closer to where I live, it definitely would be a place I would frequent. I will come again next time I’m in Oakland and this is a spot I would recommend to my tea and boba connoisseur friends!...
GO HERE. They have an absolutely astounding array of options, including dozens of things I've never seen at other bubble tea places. (E.g red bean toppings or durian sago tofu pudding). Everything is customizable and they have over a dozen toppings to choose from. They are also very dairy-free/vegan friendly (they have almond, soy, oat, and coconut milk!).

Boba shop: huge selection of many different teas as well as flavors/cremas etc. my favorite part is that you can ask what tea they use in the drink and they will tell you what it is. This place is a dream. Prices are reasonable (~$5-6). It’s my favorite way to try new teas.
