Authentic Cantonese food, great value and most of all great service. We had clay pot rice and they make their own preserved meats. The restaurant looks clean for Chinatown so it’s worth a try.
If you like the predecessor of 8th St Cafe, called D&A cafe at the corner of Webster st cross 7th st 20 years ago, you would love this Hay Yue restaurant.I came for dinner today. The dishes are $20-$25 each, not too bad considering minimum wage is $16 an hour. If you want to enter value mode, you can get $39.99 for 3 dishes in smaller portions.The bamboo lamb brisket in clay pot is as delicious as you would expect. I drove by and saw a newly opened restaurant, so I went to try it. The food was pretty good? and the environment was also very good. I also had a 15% discount for dinner, so I saved a total of 9 yuan. It was very affordable and worth recommending.
