I happened to be in Oakland yesterday and came across Ibs on lakeshore. The staff were excellent, I ended up ordering the surf and turf and my son got the original Cheesesteak. Food was amazing , great quality , fresh and just overall a great cheesesteak. We will definitely be back.

What i love about IB’s at lake shore is that you can eat there and enjoy your hot chopped cheese with a nice watermelon lemonade and enjoy the music witch is always on point ???don forget to add some wings with your order pro tip get honey garlic wings and ask for a side of buffalo as a dipping sauce it’s so good!!!!!?

I've been here multiple times. Great establish. Christian is an absolute all star! He gives great customer service and is very friendly and helpful!.
Used to go to the cheesesteak shop until they forgot my peppers when I specifically asked (and paid extra) for extra hot & extra sweet! I went to IB's and this guy Christian made me the best damn cheesesteak I've ever had. It's been my go-to cheesesteak spot ever since. I highly recommend the steak & shrimp with garlic sauce, 10/10. Great customer service.

The food here is horrible I order two cheesesteaks and the bread was soggy and saturated in oil. I also ordered fries that looked old and saturated in oil the bag the fries came in was oily when I touched the fries my hands got oily. This is unsatisfactory and I told the staff there before I left IB’s, and I hadn’t even eat off of it. I asked the staff for my money back on the fries and he called the manager and he was told not to refund me because the fries come in oil. So I asked him to take everything back and return my money and again the staff called the manager and was told not to return my money. Bottoms line this place has horrible food and horrible customer service. Not to mention their were flies all over the place I should’ve been paying better attention before ordering from here.

I got the cheeseburger, the cheapest burger or sandwich on the menu. It was $9. It was tasty but here's the problem: the bun. The cheapest weakest bun possible. Look, a burger is yes about the burger and the veggies, but at the root level, a sandwich is about the bread. Any sandwich or burger is 50% a bread experience. It's a make or break. And the bun at IBs is so weak that the burger experience becomes a floppy sloppy mess without any of the flavor, texture, and eatability that a decent bun provides. My opinion for the best burger in the bay right now is the wimpy burger at Scolaries in alameda.
