I've been meaning to review J's for a while because the food is good and the owners are better. J's is a small burger shack just outside of a large parking lot on Dennison. It ain't fancy, but it's the burger you remember from diners when you were a kid. They have a few special items on the menu, like the teriyaki burger (which is good), but it's all about that classic cheeseburger for me. J's does it right by keeping it simple, and I'm always reminded of how Johnny Lawrence fondly describes Sal's Diner in Kobra Kai: "just a hot grill and some quality chuck." This place reminds me of going for burgers with my parents at the local diner growing up. If you're looking for something gourmet, this spot isn't for you, but it's a great lunch burger for those who enjoy the simple things, and the old way of making a burger.

I've been here for over 2 years not going to lie I loved there food at first, there just getting old and can't keep up with standards, old ranch, hard bun, undercooked frys This place is decent but def wouldn't recommend it and they used to be cheaper

Please support this family operated establishment! Their menu ain't too crazy but it's got what you need for a solid breakfast or lunch. They're only open til 3 though. I work around the corner so I dropped in for lunch and got the crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings. The rings were huge with a light tempura batter. The chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy. The owners are super sweet and attentive. Everything is made fresh to order. Definitely a go-to.
