Very clean, excellent menu with very creative rolls. The nigiri 🍣 sushi is fresh and the best I’ve had to date. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Japanese beers are on point, cold and priced right.
This a “locals favorite” which feels very welcoming and the freshness will be bringing me back.

Kakui Sushi is a popular destination, offering exceptional service and delectable cuisine. The atmosphere is clean and modern, creating the perfect ambiance for a date night or special occasion. The warm mushroom salad is absolutely delicious and nothing like anything else. The Oakland PD and Warriors rolls rounded out a delicious meal, and the Four Seasons roll is also excellent. The staff, including the friendly and knowledgeable waiter Kenny, is terrific, attentive, and amazing. Although the prices for entrees may be a bit high, the quality of the food is worth it. While there can be a long wait for food, the service is outstanding. Whether dining in or getting takeout, Kakui Sushi is a must-try for anyone seeking an exceptional sushi experience.
