This experience was typical for a Chinese restaurant in Oakland. However, the food was very good, cooked well and full of flavor. I placed my order ahead of time, and it was ready when I arrived. The woman inside was friendly, greeting me with a warm hello and a smile.

So disappointing. Especially for the price I paid. I took two bites and couldn’t eat it. 4 dishes wasted. Terrible food.

I don't have much time to eat and I was craving Chinese food, I looked in the browser and there were many photos of this place, I went and there wasn't much to choose from, even so I ordered meat and rice to take away, what a surprise, the food is in bad condition, now I won't eat and Besides, I spent my money, I don't recommend this place at all, you could contract a disease.

I usually order delivery from King Kong -- and have never had a problem with the drivers who come right to my front door. The menu has a wide array of options - my favorites are the salt & pepper tofu (extra jalapeños and garlic, please!) which is perfectly golden, crispy on the outside and tender inside. It doesn't taste fishy like other neighborhood Chinese restaurants -- so hoping that means they just keep fresh oil or the fish are fried separately. The garlic broccoli, dry fried string beans and other veggies are pretty tasty. I get the mu shu veggie (no egg!) and it comes with a generous pile of rice wrappers. The veggie meat analog dishes are hit or miss - the chicken-analog are strange spheres like they were scooped with a melon baller (not a fan of the kung pao - too much celery). The veggie beef is pretty good though - get it spicy (no celery!). They cook without MSG - and the kitchen while spartan - seems clean and the folks are all pretty nice thought the dining area is a bit shabby. They seem to have a buffet during the day but I've never been there to see it!

Every time I've ordered from here, they never miss. The food has always been absolutely delicious. This time, we got the honey walnut shrimp, BBQ pork buns, shrimp dumplings, fried tofu with mixed veggies, and orange chicken. I couldn't decide which was my favorite so I just rotated between all of them! And I'm always happy with how the dishes do as leftovers too!
This is not fit for my dog this is the worst I ever had if I could give them a 0 I would that how bad it was
This place is pretty solid. I could say alot about it, but I like the people, I'm hardly disappointed in the food, I don't think they're ever gotten my order wrong, and its a good value. I've gotten party trays for birthday parties, and everyone always compliments the food and asks what Chinese food restaurant it is. I do warn then that the restaurant itself isn't very cute, but the people are very kind. ♡
Kid-friendliness: They will accommodate requests sometimes to leave out garlic, onions or spicy peppers, so that the dish is kid friendly. I do this when I order "salt & pepper" and ask for no jalapeño. I'm not sure that they would do this for any order or if its just for me :)
Wheelchair accessibility: They have big wide doors without steps, so it's easy for a wheelchair to enter and slide in to a table.

Clean location, good food and great customer service ?
I don't know how this place is in business. Tried to go here for dinner and they had no food other than 4 practically gone, dried up hot trays with shriveled up veggies in some sauce. I was starving and was unable to find even rice to buy from them. The guy behind the counter was clear there was no food because they were already done for the day at like 5pm. I was reminded of why I haven't been here eventhough I live in the neighborhood.
