Kona Club is the best! The decor is amazing and you feel really transported to another place once you walk in the door. The drinks are well priced and top notch (Chi Chi is a must for first timers). My favorites are the Painkiller and the Konarita.The bartenders are great - just beware forewarned that they are slammed on the weekends and it may take some time to get served.
I loved this place and I had a good time there. I don't drink a lot. I had a single beer here with a friend and I really enjoyed my time while I was there. The bartender was friendly. I had a beer and my friend had a virgin cocktail. Both tasted great! ????Kid-friendliness: I'm not sure why you would take your kids to a bar. I mean I guess my dad used to and I turned out fine. ? Seriously though, don't take your kids to bars.
