I ordered both the hot chicken and honey butter and they're actually chicken tenders that are a match made in heaven.

The food came out fresh from the kitchen, and was truly delicious. Maybe the best fried chicken I've had in Oakland in a while

Finally tried Matt Horn’s Kowbird and it was disappointing to say the least. Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, which was WAY too spicy.

I pride myself on being able to eat spicier than most of my Indian and Mexican friends, but the sandwich was just unbearably spicy. This makes sense when I learned they season it with scorpion, ghost pepper and cayenne. It didn’t help that they didn’t have slaw that day — strange for a restaurant with 5 items...

This place has it together ❤️ 🙌 😍 ✨️, and I will definitely be back. I had to take a moment to let the experience my mouth was having come to a closure. Definitely worth a try if your interested the area, and the sweet tea was on point 👉 👈 👇 👌 👍 😉...
