In the category of corporate fried chicken: It's not as good as Popeyes But it's way better than KFC Also you can impress your friends by telling them you got their entire meal at the liquor store. Don't forget to hand out some lotto scratcher tickets!

The best fried chicken because it is crispiest and has flavorful spicing. But if you want it Krispy then ask if it was cooked awhile ago. Very nice people, park in their front lot. I've had their sides of jambalaya and Mac n cheese which are very good. Biscuits are crunchy and have the sweet honey on top. The tenders Family Meal is a best value at $18.49. A 2 piece meal is just $4.99.

Probably the best fast food chicken. The chicken is really crispy and the meat is moist. The jambalaya was good but I didn't get to try it because it was devoured by my husband. This is the perfect go-to place if you feel like eating fried chicken on the cheap.

Nasty old chicken, there sandwiches are already pre-made and sit under a heat lamp, that should Give you all the idea of the kind of food they serve, flies everywhere, unkept tables and large homeless population sitting right outside

Fried chicken sold out of a liquor store? Easy parking out front in their lot. Chicken stand is right next to the counter. I though the chicken was pretty good. A tiny bit of spice compared to KFC or Popeye's less spicy crispy fried chicken. Can't tell you about their biscuits because the guy behind the counter forget to give me one with my order. Price is reasonable. Drove off out the back of the parking lot, so easy ingress and egress. It is crispy and crunchy.

Although I would not order the Mac n cheese again (reminded me of the boxed stuff)... the chicken was helllla good (very delicious) and the honey biscuits are too!!

I was excited about this new Krispy Krunchy Chicken opening down the street from my place. I had only heard good things about this quickly expanding chain and couldn't wait to give it a try. We got 4 pieces of dark meat chicken and hurried back to my apartment. It had been a while since I've had fried chicken and this was particularly satisfying. The skin was so crunchy and it was by far my favorite part of the meal.

If you're looking for an actual store then you got it all wrong. It's inside the liquor store and it's surprisingly not bad. It is krispy and krunchy but it would be better if they had a spicy version. Great that you can choose between white or dark meat. It definitely would be better fresh out the fryer since you don't know when they actually fried it. I only got chicken and didn't try any sides. Price wise it's not bad, 8 pieces came out to $9.xx. Pieces are pretty big too. Small parking lot in front if the store.

It's a no for me. Service was terrible. The chicken was placed directly in the bag. I had to ask for the biscuit, but I should have left it there, it was dry. Chicken was definitely mediocre. I don't know what the hype is all about.

i was fooled by the hype! you can taste the chemicals in the chicken, aka "natural flavoring". the biscuit was a wonder bread hockey puck. can't comment on our sides because, although i paid for them, they did not include them with my order.

Bought the 4-piece chicken tenders meal - 4 pieces of chicken tenders plus a biscuit. The chicken tenders were very tasty and moist, and the biscuit ok. Since this is a new venture at this location, lots of improvement is needed to decrease the WAIT time. Perhaps preparing and cooking/frying much earlier to meal times. If I am in this area again, I will try.

***3.5 Stars*** It's krispy. It's krunchy. It's.... KRISPY KRUNCHY CHICKEN!!! Yep, it's FINALLY opened after months and months of anticipation. I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say that this chicken is pretty legit. Waaay better than KFC and pretty on par with Popeyes, Churches, and Jollibee. Tasty liquor store fried chicken though? I mean... who knew?! This was my first time ever trying Krispy Krunchy, and I'll def be back for more. This location is tucked inside of White Horse Liquors off of Telegraph Ave. Prices are cheap for what you'll receive. I got a 3 piece dark meal with mac and cheese and a small fries. The name definitely suits the chicken; it was without a doubt crispy and crunchy. The chicken meat was nice and tender and well seasoned. I was given decent sized pieces for the price. The honey butter biscuit was hard which was a bit of a disappointment. The mac and cheese was just okay. It was really tiny in size and lacked a bit in a flavor, but I enjoyed the creaminess of it. The fries are more like potato wedges, and they give you an ish load of them, even if you order a small. I was bummed that the liquor store didn't have any ketchup packets because I wasn't taking this home to eat it. Luckily, the wedges weren't too dry since their thicker than regular fries. I couldn't even finish this entire meal the first time around. My appetite has been changing a lot lately, but for the average person, I think this would be a filling lunch or dinner. When I reheated the leftovers the next day, it tasted just as good as when I had it the day before. There's no place to eat inside of the liquor store, so plan on taking this meal to-go. They have dipping sauces for the chicken and you'll get one free with your meal and it's $.50 additional for any others. All in all, I was pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'm looking forward to many more visits here in the future. So excited to get my krispy krunchy on regularly now! Woot woot!
