If you’re in the mood for birria, look no further. This spot has such tender and flavorful birria that it may or may not make you forget all past birrias you’ve tried.
Victor is the chef and owner behind La Santa Torta and he has an obvious love for what he does, which honestly makes the food taste better. He made our tacos super quickly too.
If you like spicy, ask for the red sauce!
Their brick and mortar location has closed, but you can find them on 1025 3rd st in Oakland.

first things first i got food poisoning and got to stay up all night throwing up. i should have known by the strong after taste the consome had. second of all i should have known better bc i was driving back n forth trynna figure out where they were located since they claimed to be open on grand ave from 5-12 on their ig story and after i dmed them they claimed to still be open on 3rd street even tho their ig story said that location was closing at 4. third of all the guys working that night looked unhygienic. the only good thing i got out of coming here was their customer service and their canned coke.

They were in front of a new Brewery in West oakland. Only have one item for vegetarians, chili rellenos without anything on them, but they were pretty good. However, we had to put our order in three times, and they tried to charge us a second time. Their service is subpar. They forgot our order the first time, got it wrong the second time, or gave it to somebody else, and the third time I went to pick up our order, he tried to take my order and charge me again for food we hadn't gotten yet.

This is a place you just have to visit! The food is beyond delicious! The Consome was flavorful. The churros were delectable. The staff were very helpful and kind. I cannot say enough good things about La Santa Torta. Take a trip for yourself and you’ll see.
Only order if you see a truck. if you order online they will take your money and confirm your order, but there may not actually be a truck to fulfill the order at the time they tell you to pick up. This has happened multiple times to me at the 333 Broadway location.

Great food! Yeah, it’s corny to say “you can taste the love.” But you CAN.
Deliciousness! La torta - I can’t find the words! Sooo yummy
I’ve officially tasted Heaven! Birria Red Tacos. Thank you La Santa Torta! Best food trucks around the bay.
