I love this place because it has everything that a good donut shop should have. They are open early, which is great for me because sometimes I like to treat my kids to a sweet treat before school or grab something sweet for myself before work. They have a great variety of fresh donuts and breakfast sandwiches at a really low price. The staff is very friendly and their coffee is surprisingly good and always hot :) see for yourself sometime.
Lee'e Donuts is in the barrio. patrons are mostly older latinos. lee's operates in a decrepit commercial strip undergoing remodeling. difficult to get decent parking spaces as the lanes are marked terribly. pour: apffel vanilla nut(1.45) flavoring masks the usual harshness of the coffee 2 stars eats: sugar donut(.85) -large sized, doughy, airy. crumbs: -cheap eats -forgetable coffee -avoidable 'hood.

This has been a must stop for coffee and donuts for the past couple weeks. They have multiple choices for addative for coffee, including creamers and raw sugar. It is awesome they have mini versions of apple fritters and cinnamon buns. I love apple fritters, but it is hard to finish big ones. With I split them between meals or days. They also have some lunch choices and other beverages. Oh yeah, they are cash only. But don't worry, they have an ATM if you need it.
