Beef/ Tuna tartare is something I’ll drive miles for. Left Bank has both and are very delicious. It’s served with toast and they will give you no more than 2-4 pieces before up charging (beware) not enough for your meal. Waiters wish they could do more. Service is great.
Surprisingly satisfying for a slightly corporate setting. The dressing on Salade Verte was delicate, almost to a fault. “There’s almost nothing on this…” and yet… I found myself won over by its delicacy. Subliminal. A nice counterpoint to the rest of the meal. The Moules were fresh, plump, and rich. The Salad Lyonnaise: the frisée seemed a little beat up, but unlike other versions of this dish elsewhere, was well manicured and I didn’t have to fight to get it in...
