This is a must visit for anyone in Jack London Square
Like Japan but in Oakland. :)
This place is 5 stars every time I come here. I usually get it to go but today I decided to stay. They are so welcoming, helpful, kind and happy, the atmosphere is so very entertaining, bright and colorful, and really fun!! I love Nola ramen and coming here whenever I’m in jack London makes my whole day!!! Thank you!!

NōKA Ramen & Bar offers amazing food and outstanding service. The BBQ pork buns are the best pork bun in years, and the pan fried gyoza is perfectly cooked and dang tasty. The Pikachu wagu burger with an egg over easy is /chefs kiss, and the tonkatsu ramen is rich and creamy yet very savory with the pork. The spicy miso ramen has good portions and flavor, with a marinated egg that is very well cooked. The chicken ramen, shoyu ramen, and beef rib ikari ramen are also available. Food tastes great, though a bit light in portion. The team goes above and beyond by dressing up like anime characters, with friendly smiles making the atmosphere even better. Service is exceptional, with waiters opening the door and welcoming guests. The dog-friendly patio is a plus. It is a fun, amazing place for anime fans, with tikki drinks inspired by favorite anime. It is pretty pricey, but the food is good. This is easily a new favorite ramen spot and a family’s favorite restaurant.
