Best Ice Cream! If you grew up in the Dimond district, this was definitely the place to go - after school, on weekends - have been going there for much longer than I want to admit to (I'm really OLD).BU T.. you've got to got to Kasper's Hot Dogs (only 3 blocks away) first!

Who doesn't love ice cream? I mean.. it's ice cream. I sadly never even knew this ice cream shop was located here until recently. My boyfriend decided to surprise my babygirl & me with some ice cream. See in the picture.. he's the cutest. He got me my favorite mocha almond fudge. My babygirl got a scoop of chocolate. He got his favorite butter pecan (which I never knew I could like until I got with him!) LOVE! The older lady working that day was also very sweet and patient as I was super indecisive on what ice cream to get lol. I love Ice cream so if i'm ever in the area and craving something cold and sweet, I will definitely stop by.

Yummy ice cream, in interesting flavors. There are many good options for ice cream in the Bay Area, but Loard's is our family's favorite. The shops and service are not fancy but scrupulously clean and nice. The ice cream is the star, as it should be. Just go! Forget your diet and GO!

Some troll out there reported my original positive, 4-star review, claiming that it didn't reflect an actual experience at this particular location. Wrong. This location at 2825 MacArthur Boulevard is a distinctive circular venue with a pink-pastel paint scheme. Like, so *incredibly* distinctive and unique that you can't confuse it with other outlets. And my pictures reflect this. Check Google Maps for yourself ( Moreover, my pictures of the interior corroborate with all others already posted here on Yelp for this particular location. And even before I visited, I made sure to distinguish this location from others in the area. So, back to what's now a reposted review. Here at this MacArthur location of Loard's, you'll find lots of old-school ice cream at very reasonable prices. Dozens of flavors, in fact, as my pictures attest. The lady (an owner, perhaps?) who was running the shop when I stopped by was super sweet and friendly, and accommodated my request to split a small cup with lots of different flavors, like mocha chip and caramel cashew in my case. At $3 for a small and $4.50 for a medium, the prices are fantastic, by the way. Bonus: there a parking lot in front. Again, note that this 2825 MacArthur location of Loard's is not the only outlet in the Bay Area. Double-check your map app or Yelp listing to make sure you're reviewing the right one. Or just look at my pics - which, by the way, aren't contaminated by ugly hands and fingernails shoved into the camera like muppets or middle fingers and which distract from, if not dwarf, the actual ice cream or product. Message to Yelp: instead of going after the finest Elites who go out of their way to ensure that their reviews and pictures are high quality, and reflect the actual location referred to in the listing, maybe you should police the users who troll Yelp listings across the country with useless "First to Tips," even though they've never been to those businesses and don't take part in 4398759284795 Yelp events every single day.

Ube is back! My favorite combo is cookies and cream and ube. Love this location. Everyone is really sweet. This may be my last ice cream in the Bay for a month. While I'm gone, go eat ice cream and say hello to these lovely peeps. The ube at Loards tastes a little fruitier than the ube from Mitchells.

My oh my, a very homey, old school ice cream parlor with a ton of flavors. We had the mocha chip and the rocky road and both were done right and exactly what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and generous with the scoops...so we had to make sure we took a quart home with us.
