Vibes, food, and energy is top tier here. The pecan pie is delicious and served warm :)
Excellent, hearty breakfast of eggs, grits, biscuit and tasty bacon. Will be back.

I finally visited Lois the Pie, food is delicious, the atmosphere is very homey and old school, the waitstaff: the bald guy very friendly with a nice smile, the young lady with the dreads is has a very nasty attitude and shouldn't work in the food industry, I gave 3 stars cause of the gentlemen but for her alone, 0, also a lil pricey but I don't mind supporting a African American business.

It was good...I had eggs, grits, bacon, some toast and cammomile tea. The service was great, the place is cute, but in my opinion the prices are pretty outrageous even for California. You can go to Dennys and get more food for half the price that tastes better. Again it was good, just not $35 good.

12/10 Highly recommend! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Amazing food! Chicken and waffles are to die for. I had a fresh and tasty omelette…their sausage is so good. Followed up with the pie…a must have!! Do yourself a favor and go eat at Lois’!

Amazing fried Chicken and waffles. We also got the raspberry key lime pie and no not just one slice the entire pie because oh my God it was amazing. Highly recommend it. And the pictures on the wall. Oh my God, so many different people that you'll recognize that have come to this place.

A group of us were walking by and I spotted the chicken on someone’s plate. I knew I had to try it. And I’m so glad I did. I’m very picky about Fried Chicken but this one was beyond amazing. Very well seasoned, moist and crisp. Additionally, this was a very humble and homey atmosphere. It felt like I was at a family reunion. Everyone was very friendly. All of the food we ordered was excellent. We will be sure to become regulars! Best breakfast to say the least!

My friend and I stumbled upon this East bay institution, we only stopped in for a slice of pie but it was well worth the trip. I’m kicking myself I didn’t get a plate but will need to make a trip back. The photos in the wall inside say it all, this place is special.

My pal Tajon was stuck up in Yountville because is ride was causing trouble so he bailed out, and called me for a ride back to Oaktown. I told him straight up, I'll give you a ride but I want a whole pie from Lois the Pie Queen! And the deal was struck!
Oh...the pie...it was Spectacular!

Typical diner ambience. Fried chicken to die for. Always a large selection of pies. They did microwave my pie without asking (which I didn't want) and it burned me the duration of consumption, although this has only happened once. Service often leaves something to be desired.
