Finally I found a good authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Northern Bay area ( except San Jose). The food is so authentic and is not influenced by Chinese-Vietnamese style like other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The restaurant was nice and clean. The only thing needs to be improved is the service. It was not busy on Wednesday night, but the server stayed at the counter most of the time and didn’t fill up our water unless we asked or tried to get his attention.

Really the best Vietnamese food we have had outside of Hanoi. Very friendly service as well. Try the Bun Cha, closest thing to Hanoi. The Pho Ga was very delicious with a flavorful broth and chicken cooked perfectly!

I ordered the spicy beef noodle. It was alright, mostly noodle and soup and a small piece of beef. It was 20$ plus tax for a big bowl and didn’t feel like it got much out of it.

Had lunch here with 7 others yesterday. We've come here every December for the past 3 years for our annual lunch after being Santa at local schools. Service has always been good. No hitches in our orders. I definitely like my husband's beef and egg roll noodle dish more than my pork belly dish!I like their Thai iced tea, but there seems to be so little liquid in the tea. It's like after 4 sips, all you have is a cup full of ice. I've never asked for a refill... is that even ok?I stopped in once before and asked if they had gift certificates, but the person behind the counter had no clue what I was asking for. For an annual stop, it's a nice place to have lunch.

We came for lunch and found the food to taste amazing! The pho broth was rich and flavorful and the appetizer (Bot Chien) was SO GOOD. Lemongrass chicken plate was tender, fresh and aromatic. Thank you!
As a Vietnamese girl who was raised eating homemade pho, I can confidently say the Pho Dac Biet here was incredibly delicious. I wanted to melt in my seat from pure happiness.... My first time trying Northern style pho- known for their simple broth and thick noodles. The noodles were a gamechanger for me as I tend to lean towards thicker noodles (handcut, udon, pappardelle, etc) and somehow they also taste fresh? I also find it unique that the Pho Dac Biet consists of a variety of beef ( rare, beef balls, flank steak). Generally most special bowls that I am familiar consists of tendon, therefore I don't usually order it. My friend also loved her Suon Bo Pho. They surely did not skimp on the meat and it was tender, too! For the girlies- make sure to ask for a small bowl because aunty will likely give you a large bowl if you do not specify. I felt slightly too full after eating a large bowl and thought a small should be perfect. Recommend the Bot Chien as appetizer- a chewy rice flour deliciousness with egg and vinager-y soy sauce. Fairly empty when we arrived on a Sunday morning. The perfect hangover cure!

Probably the best pho I’ve had in the bay. They use fresh noodles, and their broth is so rich. The meat is also very tender and “meaty”. I would make the drive out to Oakland just to eat here.

New favorite Pho place in the bay.No frills, quick service, tasty broth, clean and bright. Lots of natural light, quiet neighborhood on a Saturday.

Forgot toCheck in but tried this fairly new establishment for the first time and was very impressed. The broth had a lot of flavor and condiments to add were fresh. The hot sauces were excellent and the chili peppers very good here.I had the Dac Biet and it was amazing. The noodles were very fresh and the beef pounded and very tenderized. For the drink, the Thai Iced Tea was excellent.Look forward to coming here again to see if the Bun Rieu or Bun Bo Hue taste good.Staff here are very friendly.

Somewhat higher prices especially for chinatown, but the quality is there. Authentic flavors, with a slight variation here and there (some things less vinegar, some more sugar). Garnishes at the side of the table are great.
