We had such a wonderful and memorable meal. The chef really took advantage of the seasonal ingredients. Everything was so fresh. In particular, the staff was so welcoming and warm, and they took the time to explain the menu --they really made the experience feel special. The menu was a great mix of very well done classics and creative seasonal dishes. MAMA + Clio's Books was the perfect date night combo.

MAMA Oakland was amazing!!! Every dish was so flavorful. They put very much detail on my request. I’m vegetarian so they were able to provide vegetarian options very quickly and it was my Fiancée’s birthday so they brought the dessert with a candle just the way I requested. Highly recommend!!

Dining at Mama this evening involved watching the train wreck that was their service on repeat.
Firstly the good stuff, the food is delicious and the wine list is lovely.
