Dessert wonderfully less sweet! Purple rice + Almond Milk + Grass Jelly all well made!

I ordered the carmel Boba pudding. Interesting textures. Not a lot of flavor. Not overly sweet. Wouldn't have it a second time. Don't regret having had it.

Cashier forgot to accept my rewards after seeing me scan my phone. She told me to write down the account number on the receipt and she'll manually add it in later. It's been over a month and it looks like she forgot... I'd show the receipt but that was also taken away.

It's a cute delightful little place that has delicious culinary delights. Their mango green tea is delicious. Egg waffles are a savory treat.

Terrible tasting matcha drink, it was powdery and bitter. Service was not good, tables were dirty, not a safe location in Oakland either. The drinks needs to improve of service and location is not good.

They messed up my phone-in order and denied to take responsibilities towards their mistakes. Then later I was speechless because of their poor customer services with very demanding attitude when I was requesting a refund from them--I asked the employee why is my custom made boba drink was $3 more expensive than they informed me over the phone? She told me because you ordered a custom drink and it's hard to make; indeed, I did order a custom drink, but it was only milk mixed with strawberry syrup and boba....However it was only $3 dollar more than what they told us, but why would there be any pricing differences anyway?Secondly, their employees definitely need some heavy customer training...Their cashier literally asked me "what do you want to do then?" (In a very rude tone, and in Chinese: "那你想怎么办?")when I was explaining the price situation.Well, I guess you need to learn how to respect other people. Because it's not my fault that your business made a mistake on my order and instead of seeking clarification from your customer, your employee choose to make excuses and being stubborn. Regardless of their employees interpersonal/ customer servicing skill, they should be trained to never disrespect nor lie to customers. At the end, I do hope your business to take employee training seriously and best of luck to you. I hope Meet Fresh specially at this downtown Oakland location could be a role model brand in our Asian community.

Meet Fresh has become my favorite dessert place. I went to Taiwan last year and have been dreaming of the desserts there. Meet Fresh has the goods and satisfies my cravings. My go-to is the warm taro ball bowl. The warm and sweet taste is pleasing on a cold night. They also have icy jelly bowls which are perfect when it's warm. It can be a tad pricy but the portion is worth the $7. There is something for everyone on the menu and the many options can keep people coming back. They craft each bowl so there can be a bit of a during the peak hours. The perk is that they are open late. The parking can be hard but there's usually street parking around within a block.

There's a big selection of desserts and options to add. Parking is non-existent in Chinatown. Service is pretty fast.

Absolutely great! One of the best places to dine in. Everyone was excellent. Servers, bartender, hostess….food was great, good drinks. Other restaurant staffs should come here and learn a thing or two regarding hospitality and customer service. Highly recommend!

Drinks and food are good but service can be really lacking at times.Came on a weekday late afternoon and Waited over ten minutes and no one took my order. In fact they didn't take a single order as there one another person waiting ahead. The owner/manager (I recognize her from the grand opening a while ago) in the back and the worker (who was making drinks) just looked at us in line and ignored. Not a greeting or a "I'll be with you shortly." Would have hoped the owner/manager would have taken our orders seeing they were short staffed.Came back on a weekend and service was friendlier, faster and better.

I'm not sure if the person that served me was having a bad day or not, but their tone just felt rude. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Besides customer service, the drink wasn't bad. I got a jasmine green tea and it tasted pretty good. I don't usually give 5stars, so 4star for the drink, -1star for the customer service = 3stars for my review.

This place does better servings then the other locations. Customer service is great here too. I think I rather come to this location from now on.

5 stars for taste, quality, freshness & just like you would get it in Asia! But 4 overall because the price is rather high :/Miss this dessert soooo much, I've had it in Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur (at Snowflake). Gave in today for their featured ube ball special (so good, there's creamy ube paste inside the coin shape ube balls). Snowflake is still a 10 for taste/quality, but this is a solid 9. Only bummer is that this costs +$10 after tax here (in Asia, it'll cost under $4).The yam and taro balls were chewy but appropriately firm, grass jelly was silky smooth melt in your mouth, all resting over finely shaved ice. It's mildly sweet, and with a little cream on top, makes a perfect treat on a warm summer day!
