Mellana Cafe

I found this gem on my way to Vallejo and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This has an Oakland vibe, the smoothie was all organic, the açai bowl was fresh, and I could tell they probably source their ingredients locally. I loved the music as well! Finally, the shop itself had a cozy vibe. Love this place and will be back!

This is a hidden gem for fresh and delicious juices and smoothies. I got the Rocky Almond protein smoothie and it’s seriously the best smoothie I’ve had in years. My son and I love coming here and supporting this unassuming quaint cafe :)

I've been coming here for a few years for açaí bowls and normally the bowls are fresh, but the peanut butter açaí bowl is frozen rock solid like another reviewer mentioned. It's been almost 30 minutes and I still can't get my spoon through it.

The first spoon I grabbed in front of the cash register was dirty with açaí on it. When I told the cashier, she said sometimes people grab a spoon and then put it back. I don't think this can/should happen right in front of the cashier...

I'm disappointed as I've always loved this little café and shared it with many friends over the years, but the quality has declined considerably :(

What an awesome juice bar, super friendly people and the avocado toast was delicious. I definitely recommend trying them out you won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately this place is tied for worst açaí bowl I’ve ever had. The bowl was pre made in the freezer. I also got it with peanut butter, which was also in the pre made / frozen container.

As a result, when I went to eat it with their flimsy plastic spoon, the spoon just broke in half. I needed to wait probably 30 minutes until it was thawed.

I didn’t have the juices which are raved about in other reviews. Classic decaf cap. Solid service. Was able to sit down, login, get some work done and sip for about an hour. Great local place with warm smiles n drinks!

I got the Jamaican Paradise and the mango and ginger was so refreshing. Nice fast service. I’d come a lot more often if we lived closer! I want to try the açaí bowls and Yemeni coffee next.

I bought an iced latte today, big disappointment.. I came here for seeing a 4.7 rate and got really disappointed..
Coffee has no taste..
Have to say I don’t know about other stuff they have and that’s why I gave 3 stars.. if coffee is all they’ were selling I would had give a 1 star review

So I've been going to this place since its inception or grand opening and service has been pretty cool, but today was strange. My family and I usually spend close to $100 a week after Jummah. I simply asked her can I taste the leftover smoothie or extra from my my kids drink and she poured it out. I said was it against company policy she said no it was at here own discretion. She even said she saves it for the next drink which was a lie. Needless to say I won't be spending any more money there.
