Food is consistently high quality and fresh, but that’s where the superlatives end. Everything else is hit-or-miss.I order here regularly through Doordash. The price of a caesar salad with chicken, before delivery and service fees, is nearly $18, so at that price one would expect not only consistently high quality food, but also fast, efficient, and accurate service. Not so. On average, the food takes much longer to prepare than other similar spots, and the quantities are really inconsistent. Sometimes I get too many of one ingredient, sometimes not enough, sometimes they forget something, and sometimes I get an entirely different item than the one I ordered. Today was a fairly good day. Tomorrow? Who knows.

Waited entirely too long for an order that was placed right at opening. I only tried this location out because I’ve been a super fan of m farms for years ( my go to salad place) and there isn’t one close to my home now that I’ve moved. I happened to be in Berkeley for an appt so ordered from here. Ordered two salads and sandwich exactly at opening and it took 45 plus minutes to receive. Next time I’ll just drive to a retail location.

It took well over an hour to get the salad I ordered tonight. A few weeks ago I ordered a sandwich that took almost as long. Take out should never take this long. I also should not have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes for someone to show up at the take out counter to pick up my food once my order is ready. This place is obviously not able to handle the amount of orders they are receiving. This will be my last attempt at ordering here.

This place actually has some red wine. Good sandwiches and soup and salads. Decent service. Order your food first and then sit down. Indoor and outdoor seating. Quite ambiance.

I've gotten takeout here a few times. My favorite is the quinoa kale salad with added chicken. Very healthy and filling. Once they forgot my chicken but I got a refund for that part. Order can take a bit of time to get ready because it is a ghost kitchen and they get a LOT of orders from people and delivery apps so just be patient.Prices are fair, I love the quinoa kale salad with chicken, haven't tried other items besides that one but I'm always happy with it :)

Twice I've had their chicken soup and I'm so in love with it . I'm an east coast transplant. And fall says soup to me . This has a rich broth, tons of real chicken , veggies and I'm (not sure what the grain is or if there's one like rice ). Try it . It'll make you feel full and happy .

Order took an extra 30 minutes after they said the food would be ready. 60 minutes to make a salad and sandwich is

Waited for 65 minutes. App should be accurate as to what the actual wait is so patrons do not have to wait this long. Front clerk said that only two people were working. She was also eating in front of at least 10 other people waiting for their food also. After waiting, utensils were missing so I went back in to store. Will not come back and I already complained in their website.

Ordered a sandwich and side for delivery for lunch, just 5 minutes after they “opened” and after waiting 1 hour 40 minutes I finally gave up and got a refund from Uber. It was delayed by over an hour with no updates. For something that should take 3 minutes to make and another item that’s already pre-made, this must be a scam. Avoid this place.

We ordered delivery through Caviar several times recently and might be a little bit obsessed. I'm always looking for food that is delightful and grain-free. You can order any of the sandwiches as a salad (on Caviar it's a touch confusing, the salad-style option is buried under bread choice, and don't expect them to include the condiments that would usually come with the sandwich).Portion sizes are on the small side, especially the sandwiches. For us, that's ok, but it isn't cheap for what you get. It's really great quality ingredients, though, so it feels worth it as a splurge. None of the meats in salads or sandwiches ever had dry or gristly bits, all just moist and luscious. Favorite thing: Italian roast beef both as sandwich and as salad. We've been watching the first season of The Bear and really enjoyed getting to have an Italian beef. The giardinera pickled vegetables are quite mild and add so much to the taste. I liked this with a creamy dressing. As a sandwich it came on a pleasant roll. Others:Will definitely order again:Strawberry fields salad with chicken: consistently perfect strawberries, delightful sweet poppy seed dressing, the pistachios give a delightful crunch. I could murder another one right now even though I ate it twice last week Beets and goat cheese salad with chicken: my mouth is truly watering thinking about this one. I don't always love beets but took the risk. It was probably my favorite beet-containing salad ever. They were in polite little dice and married so well with the goat cheese and tart apples and the yummy citrus dressing. Superb surprise. Might order again:Build your own salad: the combination I came up was nowhere near as well balanced as their own combosModern Caesar salad with chicken: dressing is heavy on the anchovy taste for me and I don't like the "superfood Krunchies" which seemed to be mostly quinoa, but it was okay altogether Watermelon street cart salad -- the cucumber and watermelon are a refreshing combo and the dressing was mild enough to appeal to me, but the watermelon didn't hold up well and was a little too mushyImpossible taco salad -- my sweetheart liked it fine, nothing too exciting. Definitely too spicy for me and also the smoky/vinegar taste of the dressing was not my favorite Wouldn't order again:Vegan bahn mi -- the sweet chili sauce was far too spicy for me and without it the sandwich was boring even though the panini-style grilled roll was delicious. The tofu is just bland. The daikon and carrots in this sandwich were cut too large in my opinion, should be more delicate julienneThai mango salad -- I got it without ramen noodles and it was pleasant, especially the fried onions, but the dressing is just too spicy for my baby palate so even the nice mango bits couldn't redeem it Overall, I crave the next time I order from this place and would have it as a weekend treat anytime!

Food is good, but not worth the delivery hassle. We have large lunch orders frequently at work when we physically can't leave to get food. We order several hundreds of dollars worth of food every single time. It seems there are consistently problems with getting the order correct or even delivered in a timely manner. The last order is reason I will never order from this place again. We ordered about $200 worth of salads which is small order for us. It took over two hours to deliver. They only delivered half the order and no utensils. Mendocino farms used Uber eats for the delivery. We called the driver and he said they only gave him one bag. So we called Mendocino Farms. They were confused... at one point they said they had the other half of the order at the store. Then they said they didn't and it was the Uber Drivers fault. Then they said they would give a refund then they changed their minds. The entire communication was difficult and most of it didn't make any sense. Then they said that they wouldn't refund the food that was missing on the order and it was at the store. We had to pick it up, because they were busy and they couldn't deliver. We had to find someone else to pick it up that wasn't at work with us. At this point it was about four hours later. Mendocino farms was emailed and they sent a generic email and two free salad coupons that can't be used together. Never again will I experience this with this company. I only wrote this review so other can be warned about the delivery issues. If you are picking up or don't have any other obligations for the day then this place might work for you.

I've picked up several times from here, including a large group order. It's always been delicious. The location is a bit odd as it's mostly DoorDash pick-ups but I've never had an issue.
