Today ordered 40 pcs fried chicken for birthday get together with family. To my surprise could not order chicken over the phone, was told that I had to come in to order & pay. Having to make 2 trips for fried chicken does not make sense. They should join current times and let us pay online, so that we make only one trip. Disappointed on order that I spent $120, majority of chicken was made up of drumstick & wings. Only 3 breast meats, 10 thighs and the rest wings & drumsticks....will find other businesses that will give a decent amount variety and not take advantage of their customers. A shame that a business built on a reputation of having good fried chicken has changed for the worse.

This place is a dump rude customer service definitely will never patronize this business again the food is as bad as the service it's time to throw in the towel

Five dollars for one chicken wing! Price gouging would be an understatement!

Clean, pleasant. Had food to go so didn't have service. Felt warm, comfortable; smaller location form former spot. Parking is on the street, not good but not their fault.

My favorite cake since I was a child. Blessed by my daughter with my round strawberry shortcake. Still the best cake I have ever had.

Gone in today 28JUL2020, approx. 1450hrsLooking to buy a dream cake, little section left, 2 dream cakes, a few others, a few slices. Store was empty, an employee said "excuse me, we are closed". Me, looked at her like what? "We will re-open in 20 minutes". Me, look around for any signage, none. Walk out, look for any signage, only the open one that was lit.

Cakes are decent if you ate in a bind.

The fresh strawberry cake is SO GOOD! I only got one piece, but I shouldve gotten 4. The service was also great, I don't know what all these bad reviewers are talking about. Go go go!

Long time customers, back when they had the big restaurant/bakery. Really good cakes and the food was good as well. Nice location but parking is a beast.

I tried to order a cake today and the level of customer service I received was simply pitiful. I've been getting cakes from there since I was a child. So when I walked in excited that they are even open so I could order a cake I was completely taken aback by the staff. I asked to see a book to pick out the decorations I was told they don't have one even though I could clearly see one on the counter. I was told I'd either get roses or balloons unless I printed out a picture and brought it to them. There are pictures on the outside of the store but I was told that those aren't for me to order from. I'm just outraged by the lack of customer service. If the owner get a chance to review this I'm sorry but your staff doesn't want you to make any money.

Merritt bakery is still a great place to get food and dessert.

After going to the original Merrit Bakery location for at least 30 years upon my first visit to the new location today I was beyond disappointed.I experienced poor customer service and once I made it home to eat my strawberry shortcake , the cake was beyond dry almost stale in texture.Never would’ve thought the quality could drop so dramatically.
