The staff members seem ready with smiles and good vibes every time I come here. Situated on the lake, the location is also perfect if you're circling the water and want a break.The food menu has good breakfast to lunch options, especially if you can't escape the allure of a breakfast sandwich.Only disappointed in the croissant offerings -- could use a bit more flavor. But well-priced cold brew and productive atmosphere will keep me coming back.

Merritt Station Cafe is a wonderful place to meet with people and chat, or to quietly work on your own. The Atmosphere is warm, friendly and respectful, with plenty of space. The staff is wonderful. The food is great. My favorite coffee place in Oakland.

The two men at the counter were really warm and friendly. My oat latte was alright! No frills cafe. I walked in here from the gym after I realized I needed a boost and didn’t want a nasty energy drink or pre-workout. The medium latte that I got did the job!Vegetarian options: they had a variety of croissants
