Food needed more salt. Service was spotty. My partner’s food came out 20 minutes before mine and we ordered at the same time. Nice location, but not in a hurry to go back.

Service was good but the food is overpriced and lacks flavor. We ordered tacos de papa (barely filled with potato - more like an appetizer than a main dish) and a burrito that was small as well. Jack London Square prices are always high but the food was not worth it.

Chilaquiles and margarita here are so good! It’s worth the visit and try the habanero sauce, if you like it hot!

It was the worst chilaquiles ever, it was impossible to eat , I had to drink 2 glass of water , cause the flavor was just spicy , I didnt feel the beans , or the meat , in my opinion it is a offense to the Mexican food

This place has lack of flavor, the food looks good but didn’t taste good. Our order was wrong twice and the person seemed upset when we let them know.

Simple Snacc

The owner was nice and gave me a free potato beef taco. That one was okay.

The pastor tacos were pretty good, I think they were flavored well but a little on the dry side. However, better than most tacos I’ve tried in the Bay Area. Their texture was kind of weird, not slices of pastor but more like ground pork or something. Not really
authentic.

The chilaquiles were pretty mid, I found them disappointing. There’s dozens of ways to make chilaquiles, and the ones I’ve tried in Mexico (CDMX, Oaxaca, Morelia, etc) that I liked best are the ones where you don’t drench them in sauce so that the chips still feel like chips. Here, they became soggy and all I was really eating was pure salsa. They also need more cheese/beans or something to make the dish not feel so empty. Had I not added carne asada and egg, I don’t know that they would’ve been even worth ordering.

Overall, food + service this is a 4.

However, I rate more on the food and the food was just okay. Nothing to write home about. 3 stars.

I wouldn’t say don’t come here. In fact, I encourage you to come. Come try their tacos. They’re probably better than most of the tacos we have in the Bay Area.

This place is so cute, it feels like a safe place and the food is very good! I had the tacos and flautas, unfortunately the second time I got Flautas I paid the full price and didn't have any chicken inside.. But the other times were delicious

The food here is incredible, I have been looking for a great salsa ever since my favorite Mexican restaurant closed down earlier last year! I love the flavor here and the spice is perfect, if you are someone that doesn't handle spice well definitely take it in small portions.I ordered a marinated chicken burrito and it was packed with flavor by itself and then once the salsa was added it just took my breath away! The chips were well seasoned and went perfectly with the guacamole and salsa I am on vacation here and if I ever get the chance to come back I'll make sure to stop in to this place again for incredible food!I will say if you try the horchata beware that it may run a bit of a gritty texture for those that may have trouble with that, otherwise the flavor was great and it was overall an amazing place to stop in and eat!

This is a taco. Made how it should be. All the carnes grilled with love, all the toppings wonderfully fresh. The tortillas are amazing homemade maiz or flour. Then they have these random amazing food specials. I hope i get to experience their carnes en su jugo one day because their albondigas that one time was priceless!
