Stopped by for a mid-afternoon hot dog and beer this past Sunday. Got the #4 Sauerkraut and whole grain mustard with a KSA kolsch. Was wicked impressed with how delicious the hot dog was- super simple but quality ingredients. Not the most comfortable of outdoor seating options- there was one outdoor table squeezed on the sidewalk in a high traffic zone- but taking the food to-go and walking to a nearby park is a great option if the weather is nice. Pricey for what it is, I can't imagine paying almost $20 for a hot dog and beer outside of Oracle Park, but I was willing to try it! Probably won't be going back until indoor dining options are open, but glad to see local breweries are going strong!

Finally open after more than 6 months in the former local of The Trappist. Small to-go offer of a few hot-dogs, with vegan substitution available. All of Fort Point beers available in 6-packs. Tried the #2 Onion + yellow mustard and #4 Sauerkraut + whole grain mustard. They were quickly ready.

Good local spot to grab some beers. Not the biggest space so call ahead if you are in a large group.

A great neighborhood taproom with a huge selection of canned beer. While they do mostly serve Mikkeller, they do have guest taps

Sleek interior, cool art, and solid draft selection. Located in a central part of College I was surprised that I've never checked this place out. When speaking to the bartender I was informed that this establishment has been around for ~5 years, but was re-branded from Trappist Provisions to Mikkeller just 2 years ago. PROS: + Free wifi + They let you sample flavors before you commit on your pour + They have snacks you can purchase but was also kind and let us bring in food from other establishments and enjoy it there + They change up their menu so it can change every visit which allows you to try plenty of awesome drafts. This visit I enjoyed a nice cherry draft + They also have some bottle selections to go right near the register Mikkeller isn't the largest space, but they do have a couple seats at the bar and long tables near the front of the place if you're coming in with large groups. As the menu rotates, I was able to try a nice cherry pour that was similar to a sour (can't remember the name) but if you check it out in the near future it might still be on the menu. Pours range between $6.5-$10 so you're sure to find something you'll enjoy in your price range. I enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the place and coming on a Sunday the place wasn't packed at all.

Mikkeler is pretty consistent across their stores. Prices are very high but selection is more unique and rarer than you'd find elsewhere. Some Mikkeler as well as some outside beers. About 40 or so beers available in their fridge to choose as well to buy an drink inside, prices more reasonably than their drafts. Small space but nice for a post work or date night drink.

Great small taproom in elmwood. Lots of beer by can and bottle for take out. Small and nice. Great outpost of this Amazing Danish beer brewer! Not overcrowded the 5 times I have been there. Great area too lots around. Our host Chuck was incredible and so helpful. Nice nice guy! You must go!

Cool spot, decent draft selection, GREAT bottle selection. Mikkeller is a big name to live up to, and I was stoked to see one in Oakland that was accessible without crossing the bridge into the City. After finishing up an A's game at the Coliseum, a friend and I decided to trek here to get a first hand Mikkeller experience. We only stopped in for one quick drink, but had a great time. First: the bartender was knowledgeable about craft beer in the area and gave us welcome tips on where to go next, should have wanted to, and made good recommendations. I wasn't wowed by the selection, but it was good, and there more than a few options I had my eye on. The space itself is pretty small. A couple bar seats, a handful of small tables, and no outside seating. It's not hard to see this place getting easily packed with just around 20 people inside. The ambience was nice: great art on the wall, some unique cans and bottles decoratively displayed, etc. I just felt like I wanted... more. I get it, rent is expensive AF. But a larger space would have been nice! Best part was definitely the selection of bottles. A bit of everything you could want, from Belgian and Danish imports to California rarities that aren't seen around here too much, either. I didn't buy any, but I'm pretty sure my buddy picked up three or four. All in all, a good experience, and a great place to have on your radar. Probably just a spot to stop in for one, though. There's plenty of other spots you'd want to check out in the area, too, if you were imbibing any more.

Beers from here are always delicious. We found the SF location on New Year's and were happy to find a tasting room closer to us in Oakland and not have to pay the Bay Bridge toll or struggle with parking in SF... Another extra special thing about this tasting room is their bottle shop. They constantly have bottles of Cantillon. You read that right... and for a really decent price. I was ready to pay the price on the sticker and when I got rung up, it ended up being cheaper. WIN! I need to make a trip back for the yummy Mikkeller beer and also to see if/what other Cantillon bottles they have available. I'm sure you can call ahead and find that out though.
