Horrible, racist, violent environment. I could taste that something in my panini went bad. $10 for tiny sandwich? I thought I'd help-out the Muslim community... bad, bad mistake...

Wow, looks and tastes delicious! Also, so fast. I didn't even get the chance to finish reading an email before my food was ready.

The roasted veggie panini was delicious! Less successful was the chicken wrap, where the chicken was under seasoned. Salads are tasty and fresh.

This is my go-to spot to grab coffee or lunch. All the items I’ve tried on the menu are fresh, delicious and packaged nicely. They are very fast and efficient, and I always appreciate being greeted with a smile. (:

Found this place near courthouse while I had to do jury duty and was super surprised by the great food as there are limited options in the neighborhood. The wrap was freshly made and so was the fruit smoothie. Coffee and desserts are yummy.

Tasty and delicious chicken plate. The chicken was seasoned very well and had a nice kick to it. The rice was super soft and also seasoned well. Salad had fresh greens and be sure to check out their desserts. There is a huge selection of desserts! The staff was nice but it's much better to call ahead so you don't have to wait inside. The portions are good but don't be afraid to try more than one dish!

Astonishingly good burger and fries. I also got a mango strawberry smoothie that was absolutely delicious. I will be back very soon.

Food here is absolutely delicious and the staff and service was great! It's a cute cafe and the food is super filling. Paninis are my favorite, my friend enjoyed the falafel. Portion sizes were a plus.

Website does have updated hours so I went there thinking I would get a good amount of work done and I ended up wasting time and money on the meter.

I got the chicken and rice which I feel could have been $2 less, but very tasty, especially if you mix it a little. Just a bit too much salad on the side. What I find happens in many cafes is that their espresso has a few grounds at the bottom, making the final sips bitter. That was the case here, but it would've been very decent otherwise.

Mo'Joe Cafe is my go to coffee shop, it is close by and their drinks never disappoint. Make sure you go pretty early because they do run out of some stuff like the croissants sandwiches, but they are so worth it. Their coffee is delish and in expensive, I recommend the Expresso Macchiato iced, 16 oz is $3 you can't be that! Support local business.

Mo' Joe Cafe is a coffee and sandwich shop near Lake Merritt in Oakland. It's located near the Alameda County Courthouse, Post Office, and various government offices. This is my preferred place to grab a coffee in this area. It's not really a restaurant. It's more like a self-service cafe with a walk-up counter. The staff are friendly and appreciate my business. The other day, I decided to try their Bacon Hamburger with a side salad. Wow, what a sophisticated hamburger! It reminded me of those "gourmet" burgers that tell you this burger was made with care. The salad was fresh, with tomatoes and crispy greens. Why only 4-stars? Everytime I want to go to this place, there's no place to park. But it's a good alternative to that busy McDonald's down the street. I have a feeling alot of people on jury duty come to this cafe. Enjoy, and Support Local Business! Located at 14th St x Madison

This place saved me from my McDonald's cravings. I was about to buy at Mcdo but then they don't allow dine in so I walked just around the place and found this gem.I got a meal for $10.92 (iced coffee, french fries from kids menu and Bagel with egg and cheese). What a deal! (Compared to their burger and fries only)What a meal while dining in and looking at the streets if that's your thing. I'll be back to try their mexican foods. I would recommend it for breakfast or on the go snack. The only downside is that its far from the downtown. I really have to walk from busy streets of Chinatown Oakland to here but that's for my walking exercise.
