Menu is hit or miss. Banh Mi tastes good, but it's way too small for $14! And I'm not a guy who eats big portions either! You can easily get Banh Mi so many places in Oakland which is bigger for less and tastes good also. I also dislike that the tofu banh mi is the same price as beef / chicken banh mi.
Vegetarian Noodle soup is, unlike banh mi, a very generous portion. 1 soup could feed 2 people easily. There are a lot of veggies in there. Soup is great, nothing wrong with it. But many pho places do the same thing better.

Cucumbers in the bahn mi had a weird bitter taste almost chemical. Maybe it was part of a spice marinade or something? I eat spicy, but this was just strange.. otherwise bahn mi was cool but won’t be back because the cucumber.

We LOVE monsoon! It is so delicious we go here once a week! Our favorites are the Bahn mi and vermicelli bowls. We order the pork. The short ribs are also SUPER thick and meaty!

Ive been here twice and its been empty both times. The pho didn't taste authentic the broth didn't have the best taste & the beef was so fatty with thick noodles I ended up throwing most of it out. Disappointed after spending $18.

Step right up, order and pay first, menu on the wall - fast service, delicious, fresh ingredients, Spring rolls and egg rolls done just right - the meat is marinated and sweetened and perfectly grilled, the pickled carrots, green onion, daikon are all still fresh and nicely rice vinegared. Great lunch place, we'll be back to try the Banh Mi next!
There's only a few vegan options, but they're really good! We've been here several times for the tofu banh mi and the vegetarian noodle soup (which is vegan). Seemed like they perfected them on our most recent visit. Lots of veggies, mushrooms, and tofu in the soup. Order at the counter and they'll bring food to the table.

We were in the area so we stopped by for lunch. We found parking a couple blocks away. Service was fast. Iced Vietnamese coffee was good. I appreciate the portion sizes. Garlic noodles were great. Shrimp was grilled well.
