I’ve always ordered takeout from here and finally dined in person. Sushi is high quality, at unbelievably affordable prices. Their classic omakase set starts at $25 and comes with a maki roll and 7 nigiris of your choice. You can pay extra for premium cuts like toro or uni. I tried their seaweed salad, which is nothing like the standard artificially green seaweed salads you would get at a typical sushi restaurant, ton more texture and different textured of seaweed and kelp. We also shared their toro trio, and finished with the kinako mochi. Such a gem of a restaurant and will def try to be back for in person dining again. With everything we ordered which included premium cuts and additional pcs, we ended up only spending $170 total for 2, which is the typical pricing for one person at a sf omakase restaurant at similar quality.

Great night for dinner. Price is great! Sushi is very fresh. Love the difference in sushi rice. It is more red color. It tastes great.
I want to love this place but I’m not sure the quality is there for the price point - the pieces are also tinnnnny - paid $53 for this and don’t feel it was worth it via DoorDash

Hidden little gem on the edge of Oakland. Blink and you'll drive right by it. The sashimi was fresh and prepared with skill. The rice for the sushi was cooked well and just the right portions. And everything was presented beautifully.
Loved the sushi here but waited about 40 min for my to go order! Worth the wait just be prepared!! Fish was absolutely incredible quality and can’t wait to come back!

A bit late to review b/c I’ve been ordering from Mujiri for the last 2 years (at least?) — best sushi I’ve had. Very much comparable to Juní and Wako in San Francisco. I can eat here all day everyday!
A total gem! You can never go wrong with nigiri combo, chef’s choice. Great casual atmosphere to catch up with a a friend. Bountiful, safe street parking is a nice bonus.
Vegetarian options: A few options for various dietary restrictions. Well cured manageable Manu overall. Quality sea produce.
