Really delicious nigiri in a cute restaurant at an affordable price. I ordered the chefs choice set and was really impressed with the quality of the fish as well as the variety... These guys really give good value for money! One note I did have is that I thought the rice was too seasoned for my liking... While the seasoning tasted good it kind of took away from some of the flavors of the fish. My girlfriend and I also shared the spicy salmon roll and were pretty impressed with it as well! Overall I really liked this place and am excited to come back for another chef's choice set! Also, i would highly recommend making a reservation since seating can take a bit.

High quality sashimi, good value, casual. Negitoro was a favorite. Sashimi and nigiri Omakase also great. Hotate consistently delicious.
Parking was easy, small interior so it fills up fast. Not much on the menu for kids.

Thought I had already reviewed this place. Anyway it’s the best sushi in Emeryville and possibly much of Oakland. They do not have a lot of space in store but the pickup option is a special treat as it is so elegantly packaged. The Salmon Shiso is the best!

I had Mujiri for the first time 3 weeks ago. Since then I’ve been 5 times. I’ve never been to a sushi restaurant with fish as fresh and prepared as well at the price point. They also plate each order uniquely based on what you get, so it’s always a pleasant surprise to see what the sushi chefs have in store for you. Only small con is that the restaurant floor is slightly tight. I am planning to come back soon, hungry for more.
