Great place to grab lunch. Food is tasty and good atmosphere. Can get a little cramped inside but friendly patrons so we’re all able to get by. Tacos are my favorite but the lumpia is also excellent. Beer on tap and a really good banana pudding. Owners are Oakland natives and good people.

LOVED fish tacos. quesabirria tacos were ok. too much cheese for my liking. the meat (asada & al pastor) in those tacos however were phenomenal
The hours are a little bit strange each time I’ve tried to come here. It wasn’t open. I finally found a time to pop with some family and it was just OK. The birria tacos we’re actually not good. The gumbo also not good. The kids ordered the loaded tater tots. They enjoyed them. They looked great. I didn’t taste them. The chicken wings were good and the lumpia was definitely the best thing we ordered. Not somewhere I would frequent, but if you’re in the neighborhood and you need a quick bite to eat, it will do.

I have been coming to Oakland Street Food for a really long time because as a Latina who is also vegetarian, the Quesaimpossible tacos satisfy a craving I have never been able to satisfy. And I usually hate impossible meat.
I recommend adding the street sauce for sure because it Is really delicious.
I love this spot so much if they ever stop selling the Quesaimpossible tacos I will probably cry every day. I literally order extra just to heat up later and they still taste just as good.
That said, i would recommend to the establishment to provide half slices of limes instead of quarters because I always need extra limes. Always.

One and done. The food was delivered quickly and warm. I appreciated that they took a photo of my order upon pick-up and that they took the time to seal the bag. Wing s were not vented and ended up a bit soggy. I received 5 1/2 wings. Would have preferred a full six as I ordered. Tacos were disappointing - meat lacked flavor and there wasn't a clear place to order consome for dipping. I was hoping for better.
Vegetarian options: Bring a friendly smile and a fun saver:) sonic BOOM.
