Solid beer selection, good pizza outside. Came here on a whim with the spouse, tried out the Outside Voice Pizza, while drinking the Ryed the Lightning, Top O the Morning, Never a Dull Moment, and the Quite the Quandery.

Really nice space- lots of seating- indoors, outdoors, upstairs, downstairs, near windows or dark. It’s really got it all! Good beer selection. And the attached pizza is good but expensive. Overall would recommend!

Great beer, great food, great vibe, but not safe. But tonight my car and the car in front of it were broken into directly across the street from the brewery before 9 pm. A few months ago a friend’s entire van was stolen here. If you have to drive to get here consider carefully whether it is worth the risk.

Original Pattern is a great place near Jack London to hang out and enjoy a beer. The space is open and inviting, including a lovely sitting area upstairs. The beer is also some of the best in Oakland. Although the majority of their menu tends to be IPAs, they often have really good pilsners, red ales, and lagers on the menu as well.
