I loved it!! The food is so fresh and delicious and the restaurant is clean. I was so happy mmm!!! The establishment is so decorative and beautiful. I felt like I was in some fancy Native American Palace. The owner is such a humble man he even talked to me about the painting on the wall. There is so much history behind it. Listen guys if you decide to come here. Please do not be in a Hurry!!!!!!!! Because it takes some time to order and cook your food. There is also only one waiter and they be wheezing thru their like a hummingbird. Taking orders, bringing your orders cleaning and setting tables, bagging and handling transactions and to be just one person their doing an amazing job. So give them a break, they're not octopus with 8 tentacles. However I am telling you guys when you taste the food!!! You're going to forget how long you waited it is that good. So enjoy the art that surrounds you while you wait. If you are in a rush and don't want to wait order online that way you won't have to. The food is so delicious it's worth the wait kid you not!! The portions of food are huge You're going to bag it for later. The watermelon juice was so good so refreshing and with chunks of fruits at the bottom. Guys this is the spot one of the best in the bay area. I kid you not!!! I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic native american/ spanish cuisine that is worth the wait it is so good!! I loved my experience at Parra's a real treat will be back very soon.

Caveat: I came during the Day of the Dead event but in the morning before thousands of others came but this establishment should have been ready and staffed for it. The excuse I was told is "we are really busy"... The staff was somewhat amicable but tardy in asking for our order. I was very disappointed in the time it took to serve the food and the order accuracy. I had a fairly simple order and they forgot several things - add chicken to the quesadilla, extra order of beans, two juices and even the to-go boxes I requested twice, to no avail. I never got them and they cleared my table without me knowing. We waited close to 20 minutes for the barely warm food. The main reason for 2 stars (instead of 1) was the menu and food taste was decent... But I was also hungry from the wait, perhaps. Also, the fact this is cash only without having thay stated nor any of the staff mentioning this made it very inconvenient.

Went here with my family. We were sat outside and given a menu with fixed prices. We ordered a Molcajeta ranchero ($38.65), 3 aquas frescas ($4 each) and 1 bowl of fruit (price = 2 aqua frescas). Note. The prices listed were what was on the printed menu. When we got the bill we were charged Molcajeta ranchero ($48.65), 4 aquas frescas ($5 each) and 1 bowl of fruit (price = 2 aqua frescas). We asked about the price discrepancy. They said the manager changed the prices in the register and there was nothing they could do about it. This is technically illegal. They also said it was cash only although no sign was posted outside, on the menu or on the door. I finally saw a cash only sign when I went into use the bathroom. Will never go here again and neither should you.

This place sucks in terms of service. I was seated in a reasonable amount of time, my order was taken in a reasonable, my food never came. I mean I sat there talking to my friend I looked at my watch and thirty minutes passed. I inquired about my order and they said it would be out soon. 30 more minute passed and we decided to leave. We went to pay for our water and agua fresca so they don't call the cops and say we were running out on our bill. We go pay for our drinks and the cashier says "you didn't get your food. We were told not to take any more orders after you sat down." What the hell does that mean?! Any who, I can speculate a million reasons why I didn't get any service. But F this place I will never go back. I was there during Día de Los muertos festival.

I walked into the Restaurant. I just got the Menu, Within one minute of me looking at the menu the owner tells me to hurry up and order As I'm trying to decide he was very very rude & unprofessional I then told him I am not in a rush give me some time to decide and he still continues to try and rush me saying it's just Mexican food hurry up and continue to harass me as I'm trying to look at the menu that is not how you treat your customers I had planned on ordering food for my wife and son also But after feeling very disrespected I refused to order anything I suggest no one eats at this restaurant just on my way that he treats paying customers I really hope this review saves somebody from Wasting their money

Worst customer service waited 15 minutes at the table. 40% on items on the menu are not available I wouldn’t recommend it. Go to any taco truck is the same food, cheaper and faster

Had tortillas/carne asada/egg/mini toast combo with hot chocolate. Big portions, basic taste, $22 for the combo. Including infinite chips/5 types of salsa/salsa bar condiments, it's alot of food! Hot chocolate was randomly delicious. Decor is charming... the Latino music is pleasant, Shazam-able, and perfectly volumed. Super clean. Places like these are mad crowded, so perfect place to relax and eat inside. Wish I spoke Spanish but she tried English. Good menu selection. Solid 4 star... 5 star anything Bay Area is hard to get.

Delicious tamales guatemaltecos puerco! My first Guatemalan-style. Huge tamales wrapped in banana leaves and paper, with very creamy, flavorful masa and unctuous chunks of pork (watch for the few bones). The salsa bar has plenty of delicious varieties as well as fresh lemon and pickled peppers— the super smoky chipotle is yummy with the rich tamale, but the fresh salsa is also good. Fun to mix it up! Cash only. Very nice service, too.

This was my first time at this restaurant they have some really good fresh fruit waters and their food is fresh and I love that they make homemade tortillas. I also like that they have a salsa bar and great music as well.
