Love the Salt & Pepper Custard Tofu, fried shrimp balls, BBQ pork puff, the Peking Duck, and the piggy custard buns! Tom, Ming and Iris are great!
The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Six of us had a lot of food, and it was much cheaper than popular dim sum places in San Francisco. The service was a little slow. They also brought one dish we didn't order.
Perhaps there was a cultural disconnect but our server was the worst. This was our first time dining here and we were super excited to try all the things. The server was not interested in helping us she said and I quote, “look through the menu and you will find it,” when we asked about certain items. She only showed us attention when it was time to close the check. Then we could not get her away from the table. Before that we had to look for clean plates, forks given we didn't not know how to use chop sticks, and my coke arrived after the meal. We did notice other servers provided A1 service to their tables. Our server even showed better care to other tables. This was simply a bad choice. This morning I made my own dumplings and saved myself and money from such a nightmare experience.

The moment I entered the door, I said hello to the waiter named Kim and told him that I had an appointment. I made a phone reservation at 2 o'clock. I wanted to make a reservation for dinner with them tonight, but they told me that they were closed. Didn't you close at 2:30pm? The waiter can't even say hello. You can imagine how bad the management of this store is! I hope the bosses here can improve the quality of training for their employees and let them know that this is open for business, not to drive customers away.

Do not come to this dim sum restaurant. Cheating. First time here. Made a reservation for lunch. When we arrived, we were brought to a room with all English speaking people there. Room is not comfortable and not enough space between tables and tables. They won’t tell you that the standard (basic) tea in this room for each person is $4.30 that is ridiculous expensive. Dim Sum dishes are pricey in this room. Any English speaking and new customers have to pay $4.30 for tea per person. Tea is cheap and no Chinese tea tastes. We never requested to sit in this room. No one explained to us there are price differences between this room and outside the room. Is this English speaking discrimination to pay more? Since I speak Chinese, but I am new here. Is this New customer penalty to pay more? And each to-go plastic bag $0.25 and each to-go box $0.25. All the big dim sum restaurants like HL, Koi….never charged to-go bag/box. Service is not good because they don’t have enough staff, so you will not get any immediate services and you have to wait for every service. I go to dim sum every week in Peninsula area, tea per person only $1.65 to $2 per person. Some restaurants will not charge you for tea if you go often. I never had this experience in my life in Bay Area. Don’t go to this restaurant. If you go, I highly recommend you to pay attention to the bill. Foods are oily. Price is more expensive than HL, Grand H, …….that are not worth it to go as taste is so so, with few dim sum choices. Its website online dim sum menu list has no price. Be aware that it is more pricey inside the rooms than outside the rooms.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area! Good, authentic Chinese cuisine. Solid! Sunday mornings are packed, but weeknights are super quiet and better service then, too!
We celebrated our Mom's 79th birthday with the Peony family! It was her first time and she and my brother loved it! Thank you to the staff for being part of this special day!
We had shu mai and shrimp dumplings, a hot pot with small tender black fungus and eggplant in in rich sauce with hot chili peppers and ginger- we finished with coconut rabbits for dessert. It was all very delicious- high quality. Great service and friendly attentive staff. We will return soon!
Sorry to say I've had way better dim sum. It was mediocre at best. Everything was basically a C- The service was wonderful. There are far to many better dim sum places around the Bay Area I am sorry, but I will not be going back

I think the food is delicious, but the manager has to be nice to the staff. I have seen managers scolding the staff here many times. One of your managers often makes trouble for the staff and tells them to shut up without understanding the problem. It would be more appropriate to ask the managers to understand the whole thing before scolding the staff. The boss needs to face this problem.
