Pho Huynh Hiep 1 - Kevin's Noodle House

Walked in, staff just said "Sit" and didn't point anywhere, so we sat at a table nearby and got yelled at. Once we sat at the "correct" table, we looked over the menu while the waitress stood there and stared at us. I smiled at her to tell her I recognize she's there but need a moment since I sat less than 30 seconds ago. Her response? Point at the menu and say "Order now" while still standing less than 5 feet from our table and staring directly at us. Ended up leaving out of uncomfortability. Would not recommend.

Missing the Daly City branch. I'm so glad my favorite pho place is in east bay now. Beef stew is my go to lots of meat. For the way pho restaurants charge nowadays I would say this place is fairly priced. No automatic gratuity. Nice parking space. Really must try

First time eating in the completely renovated place. It’s been 8 years since they started construction, and it’s REALLY nice- an Oakland gem.
To get our Pho we’ve been driving to Kevin’s Walnut Creek and Concord locations since they started building the new building.
A review said the food wasn’t the same as before, but we found it was just like we remembered. Turns out Kevin’s father has recently returned to make the broth - bringing back the original classic recipes.

Newly remodeled clean spacious dining. Great Pho and other Viet dishes. Special combo plate w pork chops, chicken wings, imperial roll etc is a great deal and meal.

My family and I came to this restaurant for the first time and dined in. Food was moist, flavorful and quite good overall. Service was pleasant and facility was new and clean. Lastly, the value of the food was more than fair; 3 main course dishes and a side of fried egg rolls for $60 total.

This has been my go-to Vietnamese spot since I was a kid. This new location in Oakland is just as good as the others. Quick service and amazing food at a great price.

My favorites are the crispy imperial rolls, M chicken pho, shrimp and pork vermicelli bowl, and any of the fresh fruit shakes. My mom and sister love the durian and strawberry shakes. The rice plates are great too and used to be my go-to as a kid.

Service was really bad from the minute we got there. The waitress was eating in front of us. As we're taking order, she would start kidding. around with other employees. Then seat 2 tables from us and watch as we're eating the whole time. before we were done eating, she brought me the check, and then I waited for 15 minutes for them to come get my credit card. when I asked her for box and container for my sauce. Her answer was. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it. Then I finished sighing and filling out the credit car receipt. She came right over and tried to take it from me. I've been to other local like the one in Walnut Creek and Concord. I go there all the time, and the service is great. If this is how the restaurant is going to how to increase treat there customers then I think I will not go to any of the locations ever again. The only reason why I tried this one is up going to my usual place in Oakland it's because it's been great at the other 2 branches..
