Great food and vegan friendly by default (no egg and dairy, yes peanut sauce though if you're allergic) for both soup and stir fry sauce.

Where else can you watch Mukbang and K-pop videos while getting that facehurt soup? Have good strategy and take less wet carbs toppings to get affordable, balanced soup that can be eaten in one sitting. Price is $3.79 per 3.5oz so about $17/lb. My favorite topping is the Korean pasta (sujebi).
If you’re not sure about the spice level, they can bring mala and chili crisp oil to your table as a side.
Onion pancake side is also great.

One of my co-workers recommended this place, so we went for lunch. It was attractive that I could choose the ingredients and the amount I wanted to eat. Oh, and one more thing: You can also select the spiciness. There is also a non-spicy level, making it perfect for families with children. The sweetness of Tanghulu that comes after the spicy taste is another pleasure. I tried grape and strawberry Tanghulu. I love the food here and highly recommend it. I'm not sure about dinner...
