Stracciatella slice is amazing, staff has always been super friendly and prompt, and a delicious big ol slice of pizza is still ~$5 + tax…. in THIS economy?!

The sauce tasted canned. Not the best pizza I’ve had.

I’m usually a fan but they took 20 minutes to give us slices to go and proceeded to get the order wrong as well. No sense of ownership for the fault, either.

Pizza is great but customer service sucks. I hope the owner reads this- you gotta train your guys better please. Waited 20 min, and yall got my order wrong so I had to wait another 10 for 1 slice. I asked for a discount, and they took of 50 cents. Just really bad experience.

I’m a repeat customer but would not come back after this

This is the best pizza in the Bay Area. Maybe the best pizza in the pacific time zone. Hyperbole? You wish.

The crust is thin, crispy, yet light, with a nice chew. Cornmeal graced the bottom of the slice. Slices and pies available.

There is a lot of really good pizza in the Bay Area, but few, if any, will be able to hold a candle to this pizza. I’m genuinely shocked by how good this pizza is.

Toppings are creative but not overwhelming. The pizza was always the star of the show. They also have beer and salads.

I didn’t try the Sicilian or the Detroit slices as I’m partial to Neapolitan pizza in general. The Sicilian slices looked good if you’re into that.

Seriously - Get in here before you have to wait in line.

The pizza was just okay and for $7.50(1 topping) it wasn't any better than round table across the street for a bigger portion and 5 toppings. My advice is Pay less attention to the fancy box and more on the pizza and price. Sorry

Pizza Ponte is the best damn pizza parlor in the Bay Area. As a native New Yorker, finding a decent slice in California is a chore, but this spot gets it right. The undercarriage had the perfect crisp.

Artichoke has been my go to for some time but since I was in the neighborhood, figured I would adventure out a bit and try something different. Pizza Ponte sells by the slice which is great, meaning I could easily drop in and get a couple bites in. The shop is small but quick to order to hand over the food. I liked the pizza quite a bit! Not too much flop, wonderful, savory flavors in the pepperoni. The green goddess was also a perfect match for my wife. For some reason it didn't come off too special, but every bite left me feeling more, and more... and more as if I needed another! That's a great feeling. All considered, I have to come back here and try it again.

Stopped by Pizza Ponte and was pleasantly surprised — this place gets it right. The slices have that perfect New York-style fold, with a crust that's airy inside and crisp with just the right amount of char on the outer edges. You can tell the dough's been properly fermented; it has that slight tang and chew that only comes with time and care.

I tried a couple slices: one pepperoni with a drizzle of what tasted like a spicy aioli, fresh basil, and a snowfall of finely grated parm. The pepperoni had great cup-and-char edges, and the balance between the fat, spice, and bright tomato sauce was on point.

The other slice had pesto, dollops of ricotta, basil leaves, and grated cheese. The pesto was fresh, herby, and didn’t overpower the slice... which can happen if it’s too oily or garlicky, but this one complemented the sauce and cheese beautifully.

Ate outside on a warm afternoon and it was perfect for people watching. There's something about enjoying good pizza outdoors with a cold drink and a bit of street buzz in the background that just hits differently.

Overall, Pizza Ponte serves up legit slices with thoughtful toppings and well-made dough. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
