I'm partially to blame for not saying vegan (thinking subbing for vegan cheese was what I needed to do), but I also don't think the website should say it's a plant based restaurant when they have actual chicken and dairy products. I had my first experience with Plant Nation when I ordered a pizza recently -- the wild mushroom pizza looked pretty good. When the pizza arrived, it smelled amazing but the pizza was SO oily that I blotted it with paper towels like my friend Charlie used to do years ago and I would laugh at him. Once I sopped up the oil spill, it was pretty good - but it's so expensive and I definitely make equally good pizza at home. Ymmv

Paid extra for the vegan cheese and they used real cheese. How hard is it to look at the order details and make the pizza correctly? This was extremely disappointing and could be dangerous for those who actually have a dairy allergy. Won't be ordering from them again.

Plant nation is incredible! Each flavor is so uniquely and deeply built. The super sexy sesame salad was insane! The lettuce and cabbage were so fresh, crisp and flavorful even before the dressing. You could taste the quality of the veggies. The delicious dressing combined with the crisp lettuce, delicious tofu and fried wontons... is a dream! Also the vegan Margherita pizza was delicious! We added olives and red onions and the olives were honestly some of the best olives I've ever tasted. Aside from that, the pizza itself was incredibly enjoyable. Brigette is kind, warm, and a blessing to interact with, a vibrant soul. Also, if you're looking to visit, Plant Nation runs out of Umami Burger on Franklin Street in Oakland. Highly recommend this spot for its wonderful, delicious, abundant and refreshing experiences and meals!

I ordered the wild mushroom pizza and added beyond meat to it and it was delicious. I only wish I could order the pizza in a larger size, as the standard size is like a medium pizza with 6 slices. I also ordered the coleslaw salad, and it was ok and small. I ended up adding raisins and some additional seasoning to the coleslaw salad to satisfy my tastebuds.

My order includes vegan cheese on my pizza and there was no vegan cheese on my pizza. Waste of money! Could have made a better one at home.
