My son and i absolutely love love this place! The food was really delicious. My son is a cook and in culinary school so he really knows and loves food. He took pictures of his bagel and said nothing like it exists in Kansas City. So my partner Chris and I are going there this morning…I don’t even like food so much yet haven’t gotten the bagel I had out of my head. Super yum!
I love their bagels. I do wish they had more options and flavors for vegan cream cheeses. This one bagel shop I use to go to made tofu cream cheese with sun dried tomatoes and basil. I was also bit underwhelmed by the flavor of the whitefish salad. It just didnt hit home for me. I would have liked a little more mayo in it. But I think they make the best bagels in the East Bay. People love Boichik but I think Poppies is soooo much better because they really generous with how much...
