My first visit. Counter service. Original pastrami sandwich was tasty. House made potato chips needed salt. I'll be back to try other sandwiches.

Best pastrami in the bay. Sometimes they get crazy busy and are definitely short staffed but they’ve really built something special. I’m confident as their support continues, some of the rough new-business edges will get smoothed out.I love this place.

Pastrami was the best I've had on this coast. Matzoh Ball soup was really good too.Vegetarian options: Didn't try the vegan pastrami, but will come back with a vegan and try it.

Update: I have since ordered the subscription delivery service and the pizza! For the subscription, I ordered the pastrami mafia package, which came with 3 lbs of pastrami, a loaf of homemade rye bread, and mustard. Everything was A+. For the pizza, I ordered a NY Cheese and a Magic Mushroom with a side of Calabrian hot sauce. The pizza was the best NY style pizza I've had in the Bay Area. The fried mushrooms and hot sauce were particularly incredible.

Was working In the area, stopped in for a quick sandwich and the beef brisket flavors w/ that mustard they have... A++ This little spot is a BayArea sacred gem! I already know, no matter what I have to eat for the next couple weeks won't come close until I come back.

We checked Pyro's out for the first time at a pop-up about a week ago, and it was awesome! Great food and great service I wish we lived closer!

I spent all of 2016 tasting all of the pastrami San Francisco had to offer. AK subs has finally been dethroned as the tastiest Pastrami in the Bay by none other than Pyro's. I got one OG Sando and one Ruben and ate them both in the same day and will forever remember such a glorious day of self care. Can't wait for the brick and mortar, it will be holy pastrami ground.

Pyro's is currently in pop-up/startup mode. You can't just wake up in the morning and say "Hey, I feel like getting some pastrami. I'll motivate on down to Pyro's." Opportunities to purchase flash by as Instagram stories and then evaporate as your competition orders before you do. Sad! The reality is that you're far from alone if you're interested in Pyro's. Pyro's currently operates like air traffic controllers on a busy travel day when there's weather and runway construction: flow control is the name of the game. The good news is that you'll be able to order if you're persistent. And once Cash and Anahita have accepted you as a customer, they'll treat you like family. In my case, I ordered a large quantity of pastrami and two sides for pickup on the day before Thanksgiving. The Pyros couldn't have been nicer in making sure that everything would go smoothly with my order, the pickup and the necessary reheating. Sweet! As for the product: well, it's clearly great. Pyro's pastrami is certainly among the best that I've ever tasted. It would be fun to have a blind tasting of pastrami from Saul's and from Pyro's, with some Montreal smoked meat from Augie's thrown in for comparison. That tasting will have to be postponed, principally because Augie's is closed for the time being and my belly is quite full. Our sides were a pack of buns for the pastrami and a large container of mac 'n' cheese. The buns were perfect for the occasion, but weren't really the star of the show. The mac was excellent, though my co-conspirator Allen said that it was a bit too cheesy or creamy for his personal taste. We can all look forward to the day when Anahita and Cash open a proper deli and have figured out how to grow their operation without sacrificing the quality of their pastrami.

Awesome pastrami sandwiches! Was finally able to order on their online popup and got the OG, Ruben, potato salad and pastrami spiced chips. I love rubens and was super excited to try it but was a little disappointed when I had my first bite since I had a chewier pastrami slice which made the experience a lot messier than expected. The OG was delicious and my favorite of the two. The pastrami was melt in your mouth deliciousness and the sour flavor of the slaw used paired perfectly to cut some of the fattiness of the pastrami. Every bite was heavenly! The potato salad was extremely creamy and flavorful definitely would order again. The chips were amazing too perfectly crisp with tons of flavor just wish I had ordered more since they were gone too fast. Overall the sandwiches were on the pricier side ($34 per) but it was worth it for the amount of effort in constructing the sandwich. I did eat them around 30 min later than receiving so the bread was a little soggy (air fried to crisp), which means I will definitely be back once they open to try everything fresh! Definitely can't wait to try their other items that they have been posting on social media. The pastrami definitely lives up to the hype!

Best f****** pastrami on the west coast! They support local community efforts, as well as support other local pop up and restaurants. Cash and Anahita are the sweetest and nicest people! They put so much love and heart in their food and you can taste it, in every single bite! In house made rye bread, kraut, mustard, pickles, and sides. And the pastrami duhhh! Every bite of pastrami is just delicious and melts in your mouth. Their pizza is also super good! Oh and they have vegan options yall! I love Pyro Pastrami and I can't wait to be loyal customer when their deli opens up!

Sandwich was good. But i dont think its not nearly worth 34 dollars as seen in the picture below. It was mentioned that the sandwich was huge. Shared it with my wife and we were still hungry after.

Remember how it felt to be hugged by your grandma after not seeing her for a while? You're just overcome with a feeling of warmth and protection? That's what a sandwich from Pyro's does for your stomach. It's a heaping pile of the best pastrami you've ever had. The bread is the perfect vessel that holds up against the heft of the meat and whatever toppings are coming along for the ride (SAUERKRAUT ALWAYS). You'll want to give yourself a few weeks before you order the next sandwich. Go hug your grandma in the meantime.

Fantastic pastrami, and totally worth the drive across the bay! We had a slight issue with our order but the customer service was great and it was taken care of quickly. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!
