I enjoyed my experience here at Revolution Cafe. The history, knowledge and atmosphere was rewarding! I loved finding out that this was where the Original Black Panthers held community meetings once upon a time.. You can feel the energy of Righteousness in this building!✊ ✊

Homebound artistic venue. Especially for sumone like myself who has a degree in art, which has not paid off (gotten no employment with such)! These people are sooooooooooo loving!! It is goot to be back home!!!

While I've had a couple of good experiences here over the years, all of those were more thanks to the community than the establishment. The staff can be abrasive and I've never had decent food or drink that was prepared on site. I've been serves everything from under cooked to rotten food, and it's always taken forever. As much as it pains me to trash a neighborhood establishment such as this, after several chances, the pitfalls cannot be ignored. Especially if you're of the feminine persuasion, expect to be made extremely uncomfortable by the creepy staff. The owner seems nice enough, but I won't even go in there anymore because of the aforementioned issues. If you want good food and coffee without a side of harassment, go check out 10th & Wood or Pretty Lady.
