I've been here several times for the seafood boil and it's always good. staff is friendly and price is reasonable. atmosphere is very chill. definitely get the garlic noodles as a side!
only reason I deducted a star is because I picked up 2 orders of garlic noodles with shrimp (+4.50) and there were only 3 shrimps!!! come on. if I'd known, I would've just gotten 1 order of garlic noodles and a 1/2 pound of shrimp to split between the 2 of us.
The shrimp was mushy and the service was not welcoming

Haven't been to this location since I moved out of Oakland back in 2019. The shrimp boil was just as good as I remember, very flavorful. But the gumbo has definitely gone down hill. It literally was the only restaurant gumbo I ever found enjoyable. But what I got tonight was trash. I swear they used to put chicken in it. This was literally 2 shrimp and about half of a sausage diced up with some celery and broth for $17. I was so disappointed since that's what I really wanted and ended up throwing it away after I ate the 2 shrimp and a few pieces of the sausage lol I won't be back.

I use to come here a lot but the atmosphere has changed. I brought my mother and daughter and had to ask them to change the music. It went from Plies “Becky” to multitude of other nasty songs..not that I’m not a fan lol but just not the right setting. Price of crawfish has TRIPPLED😮💨. It makes the trip down to New Orleans worth it. Kind servers and food was 8/10
