Haven't been to this location since I moved out of Oakland back in 2019. The shrimp boil was just as good as I remember, very flavorful. But the gumbo has definitely gone down hill. It literally was the only restaurant gumbo I ever found enjoyable. But what I got tonight was trash. I swear they used to put chicken in it. I use to come here a lot but the atmosphere has changed. I brought my mother and daughter and had to ask them to change the music. It went from Plies “Becky” to multitude of other nasty songs..not that I’m not a fan lol but just not the right setting. Price of crawfish has TRIPPLED😮💨. It makes the trip down to New Orleans worth it. Kind servers and food was 8/10
