12/22/2021I'm not a vegan but, really enjoy non-meat options. Having tried many of the vegan /vegetarian options in Sf and Oakland I really like what they are doing with their fish substitutes. It is said you taste first with your eyes not only is it visually appealing, their sushi tastes amazing not your average vegan sushi

Tried ordering online for lunch and had multiple items cancelled with no explanation. Then, tried to call to see what they did have available and went straight to a voicemail that wasn't set up three times. Might be better in person, but overall bummed about the service and experience.

Everything has been excellent! I’ve had ..the chicken tantanmen ramen, it was rich broth & great noodles, & meat like .. the pork belly buns, I would thought it was real smoked pork. They have a lot of imitation meat dishes (and omnivore), a variety of ‘meats’… all kinds of sushi and ‘poke’. I usually try new things, always great.. buns, delicious airy and authentic. Ive had all of the vegan musubi.

The sushi was very good when they first opened but they’ve changed the ingredients in a few of their signature rolls. They used to have a very good duck confit poke bowl too. The “pork belly” bau is by far the best item on the menu now along with the dragon roll when they actually make the dragon roll as it’s pictured and how it’s supposed to be made. This place had potential but their customer service is unprofessional, rude, incompetent, indignant, and as I politely shared

Food was good, i understand making sushi rolls is time consuming, but 30mins? If time is $$$$$ this place will be bankrupt in a few months lol. On serious note these people are soooooo rude and unwelcoming from start to finish. I tried to be pragmatic , despite me being polite enough to return my plate and utensils to these bins they have instead of leaving it on the table for them to clean. The woman in front didnt say thank u , come again, but rather gave me a look of good riddance smh. Then i read the other reviews n it all made sense , except for 1 polite red head middle aged woman these people give biggot vibes. Do your self a favor , save $$$ n go across the street to Souley Vegan where they are welcoming and treat people with dignity

Best sushi I've ever had hands down! First time I had it was mind blowing to find such amazing vegan sushi, better than non vegan ones I had before I was vegan. I've told all my friends to go there, vegan and non vegan and everyone loves it. Had some hiccups with customer service in the past but I kept going because the food is so amazing and now the costumer service really improved, if you had a bad experience before I recommend you try again. I wish I could eat this food every day.

The vegan Sushi is ok. I have tried better unfortunately not in the bay. The customer service is not good. The cashier/food preparer is rude and dismissive. I’ve seen another review that they are rude to Black and Latino people and it’s sad but my experience here confirms that. Specifically the white woman with glasses is disrespectful.
I really wanted to like this place because it’s tough finding vegan sushi in the bay since I came from both nyc and LA! But, this spot is sooooooo salty omg!!!I got the caterpillar roll… so much salt and sauceI also got the rock and roll which I wanted to like but again soooo saltyHopefully they see this and improve so I can come backAgain… as I’m writing this - taking more bites and omg it’s sooooooo salty

This place is very unwelcoming and hostile towards people of color. The prep workers who handles the food are truly some of the rudest, most disrespectful people ever I've ever encountered in the restaurant industry. I sincerely hope that more people raise their voices in bringing awareness to just how terrible the service is in that establishment.
