I really wanted to like this cafe because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it but the customer service was not okay. The man at the register was very rude and short. My cousin ordered a lemonade that we didn’t get it and when we brought it up to him he proceeded to tell my cousin that he never ordered a lemonade and argued with him. Very disappointed. Food was good but not enough to come back and deal with horrible customer service.
Great environment, excellent service

A wonderful oasis experience. Came on early Saturday morning. Nice to have the place to ourselves👍.
The Honeycomb bread was amazing. They're like little cream puffs, but with cream cheese, which light honey drizzle on top. Not too sweet, which make you wanna eat more.
Coffee was delicious. The small pot was perfect for two people. Super friendly staff.
Ambiance offers an escape to unwind from the hustle bustle.

This is my FAVORITE study spot. It closes late, the staff are super nice, and there’s others here that also are doing work. There’s also outlets in every corner of the cafe, and they have fast free wifi. Would recommend!

Friendly customer service with a welcoming attitude. Iced pistachio latte with extra pistachio sauce is a must, 10/10 drink for sure.

Sana’a Cafe is such a gem in Oakland, right off 8th and Broadway. Street-metered parking is available, and it’s always worth the stop. The atmosphere is amazing—cozy, warm, and thoughtfully designed. The interior decor is beautiful, with really nice furniture and a lot of attention to detail.
It’s a smaller space, which makes it perfect for working or studying rather than large social groups. Calm, comfortable, and inviting without feeling crowded.
The Adeni chai is consistently excellent every single time—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great vibes and reliable quality, this place never disappoints.
