Phenomenal dining experience. Food, staff, and atmosphere are all 10/10. Made the drive from the South Bay and will gladly make it again (and soon).

Highly recommend. Shared a group dinner here recently with my work team. Great food and wonderful service.

It was louder than expected, and the service was inconsistent. But the ambiance was pretty good, and the food was quite good. On the expensive side, but acceptable for what it was.

Great food! Awesome service! The background music was not my favorite. The food definitely makes it worth a visit.

Love this little gem on the edge of Old Oakland. Ordered off the starter menu and had a delightful meal. Hamachi Spoons, Little Gem Salad and Wings were the highlight. Can't wait to come back for the mains.

It rocks.

For a place called Saucy, the food was shockingly dry. I got the shrimp dish for $27 and it was literally just dry shrimp a a scoop of rice…it was very disappointing. We also got drunken noodles, which again were a tiny helping of some dry noodles. Lastly we knew to be concerned when they said our entire order would take 5-10 minutes…that felt way too fast and we can see why; there was no effort put into these dishes.

Only positive was the service was friendly and the food presentation was lovely.

They call it Saucy for a reason! From apps to desserts everything tastes great, but the sauces they use on most menu items take them to another level!

The food at Saucy Oakland was actually really good — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. It felt disorganized and inattentive, with long waits and little engagement from the staff. It's a shame because the dishes have great potential, but the overall experience was let down by the lack of service. With better attention to customer care, this place could easily be a standout.

Wanted to like this place but found the food underwhelming.

I got the drunken noodles and they were hilariously undercooked and toothy. I think they came from a package and needed to be soaked for 15 more minutes before cooking. A Cambodian friend also got the drunken noodles and was also disappointed. A second friend got the pumpkin curry and was underwhelmed and said the dish fell flat and lacked texture.

Cute vibe and atmosphere, great service, lackluster food.

The space is very cute and a nice vibe

We tried the garlic noodles with beef
The noodles were delicious.

We also had the chicken. We asked them to make eas hot as possible. I would not say they were too spicy but they were definitely tasty. They weren't dry inside, the crunch was fantastic

The serving sizes were perfect for two of us

The food was so good! The vegan and meat entrees were delicious. I was so happy to have spent a dinner there with a long lost friend.

The food was unique and delicious. Very clever combinations of Thai, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The service was delightful. I'm not used to seeing such excellent food be inexpensive.

I ate here with two other people and we all enjoyed our meal. The servers were prompt and polite and the food started great! We all agreed that we would definitely go back.
